Sony NEX 5R purchased in the UK so it's designed for 220 voltage. Will this battery work with my camera on my UK camera in America being 110 voltage?

It depends on the charger. The chargers has a built in converter. I traveled to South America where they also have 220 V and it worked with out issues. Just make sure that the INPUT is 110-240V.
