Great for learning colors and shapes

We bought this for Easter for an 18 month old. Since everything goes in his mouth, we hid these eggs instead of traditional Easter eggs. He plays with these eggs every time he comes to Grandma and Grandpa's house. He loves opening them to see what color and shape is inside. He's learned his colors already and he he's developing motor skills by handling the eggs. Counting and shape recognition aren't far behind. Excellent education toy that provides a lot of hands on fun for littles.

The carton and eggs are sturdy. My 2 year old likes matching the colors and patterns.

This is a perfect toy for a two year old. At that age they love putting things in and out of boxes and pulling things apart and putting them back together again. This box of eggs has it all! I keep it here for when the Granddaughter visits and she asks for it when she comes. She can sit and play with it for the best part of an hour. On the surface it seems like there is not much to it but it's great for colour and shape recognition and manual dexterity. As she gets older we can make it harder by mixing up the halves of the broken eggs and getting her to match them up that way. It can also be used as a memory game...can you find an egg with a red centre? Absolute genius. Highly recommend for 2 year olds.
