Absolutely love this kit. Easy to use and perfect for turning bottles into unique lamps. I used it for my bourbon bottle lamp projects and now I’m looking at every empty bottle in my house like it has potential. Pretty sure this hobby is about to get out of hand in the best way possible.

This is a good looking and functional lamp fixture for making your own lamp from a bottle. I used a Jack Daniel’s bottle for my base. The corks provided were too small for the bottle neck but I drilled a hole in the bottle cap and fitted the stem and cork on the cap and it worked well. I think the corks provided would work well with most wine bottles and such. I like that you can run the cord through the bottom of the light bulb fixture and out the bottom of the bottle. The diamond drill works well if you flood it with water while drilling the bottle. Overall, a nice kit and I would recommend it. The harp shown in the photo is not included in the kit.

Loved how simple it was to assemble. The cord it versitile, it can be either be attached to the light assembly or put thru the bottle. Long cord. The only drawback is the drill bit is a little hard to control. Will skid on the bottle so it took patience to drill the hole.

Good quality kit for making your own lamp. I had a glass growler from a brewery that I repurposed for my man cave. The opening at the top was too large for any of the corks but luckily, this growler had a sturdy cap that I could use by drilling a hole in the center. The glass cutting drill bit worked better than expected. It cut a hole in the bottle in less than 30 seconds. Overall, the operation went very well. I’d really appreciate if there was a socket collar option that would allow for the attachment of a globe at the top instead of a shade but I haven’t found anything that would work yet for this purpose.

Absolutely love the ease of use. I needed a lamp kit with side hole and wiring because my bottle contained a sealed terrarium eco system with live plants. I added a grow light and now I have a beautiful self sustaining eco system in my Lamp! It is pretty sturdy. Bright enough light up my terrarium and all plants in it. Great value for money!

I love being this lamp kit being so versatile. When you get tired of one wine bottle, you can switch it very easily to another wine bottle. Easy to put together and switch out.

Great kit starter. Made for a fun simple project. The wiring works either way and wire has a small seat piece that can be used to protect the cord from the hole drilled in the bottle. I chose the rewire route and passed the cord through the bottle and out a drill hole at the bottom center. The bottle has a small notch in the base that makes it like it was made for the cord. I added a couple of small metal shades and led flicker bulbs. I did trim the corks a bit so they didn’t show above the mouth of the bottle.

I used this kit to make a lamp out of a one year birthday party celebration Champagne bottle for my grandson so he will have it when older. Worked a treat!
