Excellent product
This is a very carefully made product that accounts for the "spring effect" on the mic adapter cable. Notice the attachment with a little clamp on the right side of the case. This should fit any metal case and does not need the block in the middle of the case to mount it. Highly recommended for its thoughtful design considerations.

Universal cage fit. Sturdy.
I was afraid this wouldn't for my cage, but it truly is universal, study, and looks good. I no longer have to leave the dongle hanging on the side. Awesome product, worth the money!

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT..........
They failed to mention that you also need to buy THEIR GOPRO camera case because this won't attach to the the standard GOPRO plastic housing that comes with the camera. Very disappointing. I guess I should have paid more attention to graphic. Oh well, wasted my money.

Quality!
This housing is a bit on the heavy side if you plan to add on helms for power sports. But it does provide security and durability. Very ideal for making your setup flexible for adjusting and/or removing it.

Aweful
It’s not designed to connect and existing GoPro protective cases. It’s designed to connect their own GoPro design case! What I don’t understand why even sold it separately while it’s not universal?

Ideal mic adapter housing for metal frame
I already had a metal case for my Hero 7. Buying this holder I was able to simply screw it in to my housing base and secure it. Would recommend this if you have the mic adapter and the regular metal frame with lens cover. They do make a plastic frame with the mic adapter molded together but you don’t have the added protection as you have with metal.
