Great present for the children, but also for their parents!
When I offered this book to my friends, they told me their kids were too small to draw like this. I retorqued they, parents, could help them and despite their supposedly unability to draw (according to them), this book was a great opportunity to spend time all together drawing and learning having fun: what a luxury! In fact, one might have talent to be able to draw, but he/she still needs to practice hours to be good. I mean that nothing falls from the sky by miracle. This book about how to draw animals and it decomposes step by step the process of drawing. It is so easy and so well done! In our dimension all shapes are circles, squares, triangles...to start with. This book is a precious guide for kids or whoever, whatever the age is. Sure one will not be a Da Vinci tomorrow, as it is simplified drawings, but away from technology one will have learned something having so much fun. The book examples are really cool and there are 100, what a choice! Moreover, kids love when parents dedicate their whole attention to them. They will be grateful, and waoh, you parents will be so happy too! Just grab a sheet and pens and here you go, enjoy!

caters to a wide age range & generous amount of pictures to draw
I was so excited to order this book. I am a homeschool educator and am always looking for fun and creative yet still educational activities for my kids to take part in! Every Friday this school year starting next week we will do spelling activities and then switch to Art, we will spend several hours on art and I like to keep a variety of options available! This is so perfect! The steps in the book look simple enough for even a younger child to follow yet still intriguing for an older child! We will be doing various things after we draw the animals in this book such as painting them on artist tiles and adding feathers and/or buttons to the ones we draw on card stock! Really the options are endless for using this book as a resource! The quality is perfect, the amount of drawings to complete for the price of the book is incredible! The book catering to a wide age range is a big plus!

Super fun, so easy a 5 year old can do it!
Really fun for my son to draw some animals. Instructions are way easier than the ones that have you erase parts. It is really simple for my kid to follow, and as he gets older he can move on to the more complicated animals. He loves it, and thats all that matters!

Great for Children
I have purchased 3 of these now for friends and renters. It's just a very simple little book with easy to follow steps for chiildren to see and draw little animals. When I first started teaching art as my 2nd career, I started with elementary school children who whined in the beginning and ended up taking top art awards over high school later. To warm them up in the beginning, I did a very similar concept to this little book by doing a "draw along". I'd start with a big circle on the board that they would then draw at their tables ... add 2 upside down U for eyes with a circle in the middle of each ... a circle for a nose with a W under it for the mouth and on and on: A BUNNY! Once the children saw what they could do, that's all it took to get them started.
