Quick, lazy and long shelf life in comparison
A quick (and if I'm honest - a lazy) way to use garlic. Taste is on a par with fresh but shelf live is far longer. Quicker to cook out than fresh (very quick), I'll often put a pan of pasta on (spaghetti is a good one for this) and whilst it cooks I add this garlic, tomato puree, chilli, oil and water to a pan and reduce to a thick tomato sauce as the pasta cooks for a quick and very tasty Spaghetti in Tomato Sauce dish, adding the pasta to the sauce when cooked and mixing through thoroughly.
