UV Face Shield - UPF 50+ Sun Protection - Crestone

This mask fits well and provides excellent coverage of the areas that I struggle to keep covered - nose, lower face and the back of my neck. The first time I wore it out in the yard my neighbor asked where I got it as she wants one for her husband. While not appropriate for protection in the COVID era of our life, it does what it is supposed to do which is protect from UV. I did not find that it significantly restricted my breathing and the fact that I can access my mouth to drink from a water bottle worked well for me. I will likely add another snap closure at the bottom of the neck guard in the back as I found the wind opened it occasionally and I didn't notice right away. Once I got things settled I didn't notice any fogging or other interference with my glasses and the ear loops were comfortable as well. I wore this mask for several hours of heavy yard work and it was comfortable the whole time. I've already ordered a second one of these masks.

It has a nose flap that is separate from the rest of the mask. It allows air to come through without breathing through the fabric which keeps me cool and able to breath deeply on hikes.

I would buy it again and it's the best design in these SPF face coverings I have found.I ride a scooter 30+ mins a day in sunny Florida with a 3/4 helment and 90% UV face shield.Pluses:Can drink from Camelback! This was a deal breaker over those neck tube styles.It breaths really well. The neck tube styles made me feel like I was suffocating and made my glasses fog.Can wear with eyeglasses - I'm near sighted and even riding in rain storms I have not had a fog up.I thought that I would hate the over the ear strap but even with glasses on after some adjusting I didn't notice it.Minus:I have long, straight hair and a small head. My choice is take it to the last snap and pull it over my head leaving it loosish or snapping it in place around the back of my neck which does not work as one strand of hair will stop it from snapping in place.If you have a large head with long, bountiful curls I'm not sure how you'd get it on. Needs to be larger at neck with an adjustment like the ears currently haveCulturally, people will look at you weird. Face coverings are not something most people in the US are used to. Going through the drive thru at the bank is probably a no go.It will leave lines on your face making you look like you were wearing science goggles.You do loose some visibility looking down - checking my speedometer takes more effort.

This was a little small for me. The swim bottom was made of quality material, it wasn't the look I was going for. The return process was easy.

Although a Coolibar fan, I put off purchasing this mask due to negative reviews. My experience: It is quite comfortable. The material is light and airy with adjustable straps. The neck covering is broad. I also own the smaller face mask and this provides substantially more coverage. One suggestion: The elastic over the mouth is a bit too inflexible. Soften it up please, if possible. Regardless, I will likely purchase a second mask in another color.

The white one is nothing like the design shown in the photos - it is actually a two piece cover and the bottom drops irritating me and exposing my chin area. It aslo has an odor - it's a relatively pleasant odor - but even after washing in the washing machine it's still there. If the odor bothers you out of the package, definitely return it.

I purchased this upon Dr. Dray's YouTube video recommeding it for sun protection. I live in a warm area and often drive for long periods of time. Although I religiously use sunscreen I often dont reapply if I am in a rush and instead needed something to cover my face and still allow me to breath. This does this perfectly. It is lightweight and leaves my face feeling cool and protected. I do get the occasional looks from fellow drivers but its not my problem if they want to get hyperpientation and skin problems ten years from now.

With the coolibar hat I already purchased and this mask, I am a happy camper! Both does the job in protecting me from the sun and the mask is made so you can breath well! Highly recommend!
