Can i use USB speakers/soundbar with this projector or just hedphone jack ones?

The Dell M115HD 1-Watt audio output is not enough so I experimented with the internal vs. external speakers. The internal 1-Watt audio is only good in a 12x15 or smaller room. Since I use a 50x50 room size, I have to use external speakers. I recommend using an external speaker system with its own volume control as the 1-Watt may not be enough to drive or sync linearly with USB speakers. Personally, I have connected external speakers to my PC and use the PC audio amplifier instead. I hope this helps.

Does this one work with Chromecast without a power supply?

This projector has a USB port on the back that you can use to power the Chromecast. It works fine like this if you're not planning on having anything else plugged to that USB port.
