Fox 40 Sonik Blast CMG w/Breakaway Lanyard 3 Pack

I’ve tried a lot of noise makers, personal alarms and whistles. The ABC’s of personal safety are Awareness- Blaring Noise - Chemical Defense Spray. Most of the personal alarms depend on a battery, you can’t get them wet and they create a noise that just doesn’t match up to the decibel rating claimed on the packaging. This whistle is extremely loud and cuts through crowds, wind, and chaotic noise. I swim with mine and it works flawlessly when wet. It demands attention. It’s also compact and easy to carry on the included lanyard or a keyring. Good for walkers, joggers or anyone looking for a solid and dependable noise maker. I will also add that it helps deter aggressive off-leashes dogs.

I am A basketball official and have used many whistles over the past 13 years. I have found this whistle to be the most comfortable and the loudest whistle that I have ever used. The tone is nice and sharp and the harder you blow, the louder it gets. Whistle is great for indoor arenas where crowd noise can be a problem for other whistles this one is louder than the rest.

I like the distinctive sound. So many officials have the Fox whistles that all sound the same. This one is loud enough to be used inside or outside.

This is an awesome whistle and can be heard far away. But know that in choosing the Sonic Blast version, it’s a little larger in the mouth than the standard Fox 40 whistle. As a result, it’s not as comfortable when kept in the mouth for long periods of time as the standard version. All that said, the CMG (cushioned mouth guard) is a must.

A great whistle. I can barely blow up a balloon and some reviews complained of not being able to get any noise out of the whistles they bought. But this was easy to use and really loud.

This is a great Whistle. The size, bright color, and mouth guard are perfect. It's not as loud as advertised (120 DB) but it's definitely loud (110 DB "A", "C" or "Flat" weighted at 3 ft). It takes a small bit of effort to get it to sound at all, but it doesn't take too much more effort to hit 110 DB. Very happy.

Very effective in getting drivers attention while performing traffic control duties. Loud, low profile, breakaway neck tether. All positives.
