Half my block was riddled with black something. I am hoping I can salvage something out of it with a hail marry grain to grain transfer of the half not already cooked. I doubt this will work as contamination usually spreads even when it isn't showing... but grain is cheap on a shot of salvaging something. I wanted to try Lions Mane and could not get liquid culture to develope as fast as I wanted, so I bought this spawn out of impatients and I am still impatient to get started with lions mane with this not working. ***update. Nor salvageable.... I tried to get replacement, but you have send original back that I trimmed and tried to use. Side note... this is a very small sample. You will likely need to spawn to grain spawn transfer to make enough to grow. Or, use it to make agar dish.

grew really quickly and without any issues. I'm on my 2nd flush now and seem to be getting as much as the first using saw dust and bran flakes.

I wasn’t happy that there weren’t instructions that came with this. It referred me to their website and the instructions required I have a plastics grow bag which didn’t come with this. I provided a makeshift gallon ziplock bag with holes that didn’t work well. A portion started to grow but it took so long that the interior of the bag started to mold. This also requires wood chips or shavings to grow. I thought I was ordering a simple kit with everything, I’m new to this. But I was wrong.

Attempted to grow on decontaminated straw; very slow growing and then all I ended up with was contaminated mycelium I had to throw away. It's not a guarantee it was the spawn and not a different issue but I won't get my spawn from them again.

Product looks amazing, very well packaged and clean, can’t wait to see the results .

Nothing ever grew. The bags were contaminated with some orange stuff.....looks crazy. I wasted about 5 grow bag material with this and it took over 3 months after the entire process ending in disappointment.
