As other reviewers have said, this cinnamon has no aroma out of the package, even holding it up to your nose or breaking it into pieces (which is very easy to do). Apparently, that's how it should be. When you cook with it however, the aroma comes out and the flavor is wonderful. It's *nothing* like the cinnamon typically found in the grocery store. In fact, I don't care for cinnamon - the cinnamon I'm used to has a strong 'bite' that I don't like, but after reading about this type of 'real' cinnamon I decided to give it a try. I wasn't disappointed at all and have ordered a larger bag of it. I've been experimenting with some Mexican dishes that called for "Mexican cinnamon", or "real cinnamon" and this is it. So far I've made horchata and flan with it, and it's delicious. Of course, the longer it steeps in a hot liquid the more flavor you'll get. I think I'm hooked on it, and am looking for more recipes that I can use it in. If you're expecting or wanting the same flavor, 'bite' or aroma you find in the cinnamon commonly sold in U.S. grocery stores, this isn't for you.

Second time I've purchased these. I bought them because they're organic. Quality is good. Quantity is decent - bought the 3oz pack. Some small broken pieces, but given that real Ceylon cinnamon is naturally flaky, it's to be expected. They are fresh - 2 years left. We love using these for making masala chai, especially when we're feeling under the weather - the ginger and cinnamon are good for health.

I unfortunately cannot compare this ceylon to other Ceylons - but it does have a unique aromatic fruitiness to it that is absolutely magnificent for tea. It has, from what I know, all the markers of being actual Ceylon Cinnamon. The tree did a good job. The company packages it in plastic lined paper bags. It works. I need to transfer it to glass. But the product is good - would probably buy again unless I can find a better price for similar or better quality.

Will not be repurchashing. I usually buy local but wanted to try ordering on Amazon. The quality isn't great. No cinnamon. It tastes like I'm drinking wood bark when soaked in warm to hot water. Edit: I was wrong. Some sticks are flavorful. It's a hit and miss. May repurchase again.

Love these cinnamon sticks!! The quality is outstanding. I take two and boil with a few bits of clove, let it sit for about 15 mins. and make a delicious, healthy tea. No sugar needed.

This is the second time we’ve bought this cinnamon, and it actually arrived much faster this time. My husband mainly uses it in his hibiscus tea, and he really likes the flavor. One of the reasons we buy this type specifically is because Ceylon cinnamon is considered a healthier option compared to the more common cassia cinnamon, and it’s surprisingly hard to find in stores near us. The quality has been consistent both times we ordered, and the bag lasts a while. If you use cinnamon regularly for tea, oatmeal, or smoothies and want Ceylon instead of standard grocery store cinnamon, this is a great option.

This brand of Ceylon Flavor Cinnamon tends to have a weak taste/smell and some sticks are lighter in color. Maybe I received an old batch. Do not think I'll repurchase this brand.
