This little gizmo really works! Strong adhesive. Easy to use. Such a relief to be able to see the keyhole in the dark! Gave one to my sister & she loves it. Funny how such a little thing can delight people so much. Would be a great little stocking stuffer (am always on the lookout for those) & really great for folks losing their night vision (such as I). Haven't had it long, so don't know the length of battery life, but since u only press the button long enough to insert a key, I should think it will last awhile (it does not stay on on its own). The lithium battery is replaceable. Just over $5.00, price is fair.

I have on my house key and car key. I, once again, came home recently to a pitch black front porch-I had forgotten to turn the porch light on when I left while sun still up. No worries, I had this light on my house key. I was happily surprised to see that it is bright enough to light the way from my car to the door and see the key hole to insert the key. So very handy. And I felt so much safer.

Gone are the frustrating days of not being able to see the keyhole at night. This little gem is perfect. The light is really good, brighter than I had thought. I was worried about it staying stuck to the key (as I do not baby my keys. They get thrown around and just dropped in my purse,) but the light is still stuck to the key months later now in spite of the abuse I give it.

Okay so this is a genius product! There's nothing worse than fumbling in the dark whether it be trying to find the keyhole, making your way along a dark path, tapping around the remote control, etc... That's where the Lucky Line small sized LED thumb light comes in clutch. For me, my specific reason for ordering this was to help me navigate the remote during the middle of the night while I'm channel surfing the channels. I especially don't want to disturb my girl TOASTER while she's all cozied up for bed. I've attached my thumb light to the bottom of my FireStick remote and it's proven to be a wise choice. It's so small that it can literally be stuck to a key, a remote, the mobile phone, corner of center counsel, even on a cabinet door or end table ~ basically anywhere you need a quick ray of light and/or illuminate a small area. I still can't get over how bright the light is (not in a disturbing kind of way) and how much more convenient it is than having to peel myself off the couch to turn on a lamp. It's adhesive makes for a solid adherence to just about any object as well. Extremely lightweight, extremely easy to use by depressing the small button, seems solid enough and proven to be versatile for a plethora of needs. As of yet I cannot attest to the battery life, however with how inexpensive this is it really wouldn't be a huge sacrifice to order a new one. Highly recommend this wonderful little thumb light! I've attached pictures of it being used in the daytime and nighttime scenarios.

I gave this to my 90 year young mother. In New England we have 3 seasons where it gets dark around supper time. She doesn't have a motion sensor, so I got this to put right on the key. It works great for her.

I was excited at the prospect of being able to use my remote in the dark w/o having to turn on any lamps. This thumb light is an improvement but not as convenient as I had hoped. You must keep your thumb on the button as long as you need lighting. This means you have to use one hand to keep light on and the other to press your remote buttons. Would have been perfect if you could do both with one hand. Positive features are that the tiny light provides sufficient brightness to operate remote and it sticks firmly to the remote. Considering the limited convenience it offers, I’d say this item rather overpriced.

Took me a long time to get my search terms accurate enough to find this! I bought it for my mom who has macular degeneration and really cannot see. You just adhere it with the attached sticky backing to any surface- in my case, metal key to open front door in dark area. My mom loved it so much she ordered two more!

I love this thumb light. The church door is not lighted, and this makes all the difference for unlocking the door in the dark.

Thought it clicked on and off but you actually have to keep your finger on the button to turn on the light and keep it on. I bought this light to stick to my motorbike number plate to light it up (as it states its waterbproof) until I can get a proper light installed - is bright enough for this and have managed to cobble together an attachment to hold it in place. Would be better it it had an on/of switch but is good enough for what it is designed to do.
