Great knife
Love this knife! Easy to sharpen, very lite and easy to use.

Still pretty large for a mini!
This is a neat knife, decent construction. Comfy to use, comfortably fits in my hand (I wear a medium in men's gloves). Came fairly sharp - the bevel is convex. The tip of the blade rests on brass when closed, which ain't great but it's easy to fix with a rubber washer. I intend to make some pretty wooden scales to replace the plastic. These knives are dead simple but very pleasing little tools. A lot of people stress how thin the blades are. It's true. I can flex the blade a bit if I push it sideways with my thumb. Don't use it as a prybar. It doesn't feel flimsy though. I'd say it's for light to medium duty work - slicing and carving, whittling, breaking down boxes. It's cheap enough to be replaced if you do ruin it though. All in all I'm quite satisfied with it.

An all around a good pocket knife.
Nothing bad to say about it. It came sharp enough to cut paper but not quite sharp enough to shave. Of course that may not always be the case. It's comfortable in the hand and small enough to fit in a pocket. The plastic handle does feel a bit week but for the price it'll do the job.

If you don't have a Swedish Peasant knife, high carbon steel, ou need one of these.
I read & saw some reviews on this peasant knife. Always wanted one, but had never seen or handle one. I thought it might be clumsy, but liked the hardened high carbon steel blade to hold a really sharp edge for my home shop use. Bought the small one here, because it does open differently than a typical folder. Hard plastic handle, but seems to be really a tough material of some kind. Perfect size to fit the hand open (6.75") or closed (5.5"). No its European design doesn't have a "classic" lock open, but the tang of the blade is inside your palm and it will not close on you. The tang end sticking out when closed is what bothers some people, but not me. I have plenty of conventional folding and automatic knives. Impressions: It already came pretty sharp, but I wanted it really sharp. Using my WorkSharp tool & knife sharpener (see my other review on this awesome sharpener) I was able to hone a razor sharp edge that is actually too sharp for general purpose use. I'm gonna hurt myself. "Swedish carbon steel knife bliss" someone says in a review. There is a reason 80% of the buyers rate this 4+ stars (62% 5 stars - I'm one of them)

L6 steel made by our Kiwi friends
So it's basically two adjustment tension screws, a blade, a stop pin, and handles, and that's it. No washers or spacers or anything else. The blade is Swedish L6 high carbon tool steel, and the knife is made in New Zealand. I own Spyderco's, Opinel's, Leatherman, Mora's, etc. and I find myself using and loving this silly little knife more than any of the others combined. It's little blade is scalpel-shaped and can be sharpened to razor hair shaving sharp. It's strong, lightweight, and fun to "play with," meaning that I find myself opening and closing it, and just admiring the simplicity. My favorite part is that it is such simple quality, for so cheap, and it's not made in China, all for around $11-14 (!!!).

Awesome quality for the price
Excellent little convex edge friction folder, comes razor sharp and stays that way with stropping. Great knife

Excellent and simple
I saw this knife demonstrated in a couple of different YouTube videos. I thought the knife was awesome. My wife is always asking to borrow one of my knives which all have a locking mechanism. No matter how many times I show her how to close them, she has problems figuring them out. This knife takes the guess work out of all that and still provides a lite but sturdy tool. She kept the first one I bought so I had to buy another!

Some issues but really neat
This is an interesting knife. With some work I think these will make good work and project knives. I really like the uniqueness of the design; it’s actually quite comfortable to use. I’m definitely ordering the full size one to use as a yard work beater. Major issues: Blade resting on the rear pin. This could be poor QC? Easily corrected. You could tighten the back screw to pinch the blade before contact occurs. I chose to build up the stop pin with some nail polish and then file to fit. I took pictures of before and after my modification. It’s pretty lame that the factory couldn’t get this right. The other issue is that the blade came completely dull. I am able to sharpen my own knives so I’m not really concerned. Most people that purchase this I’m assuming are probably knife enthusiasts and capable of the same. I’m planning on ordering a few more. I really want to make some scales out of micarta and or wood. The simple design just looks like fun to play around with and customize. It’s cheap enough and if you are curious it’s probably worth it.
