Great for long travels!
This portable travel bottle warmer and the bottle warmer are both amazing! Used both for a recent vacation. My baby is very picky and only drinks warm milk. For the portable travel bottle warmer, I boiled water before leaving our home, was able to pass it through tsa, where all they did was strip test it, then took a 2.5 hr flight before having to catch a connection. While waiting for connection, made baby a bottle and the water was still steaming. Poured it into the white case and let the milk sit for a few minutes and it was the perfect temperature. Once we arrived at our final destination 2 hours later, the water was still warm. Literally boiled water at 4am and by 2pm it was still hot. Great for on the go to warm up milk bottles with some hot water. Do not believe it’s meant to be used to prepare milk like formula but more so to warm up already prepared milk. As for the bottle warmer, i wanted something smaller for traveling as our bottle warmer at home is a bit bulkier. This fit perfectly in our luggage as well as worked amazingly. Warmed up bottles so fast!!! Wish i would tried this when my baby was smaller, he’s now one and we plan on weaning him off the warm milk, but would use this over our regular bottle warmer at home.

Essential for on the go
This is absolutely essential whenever we leave the house. We tried feeding our baby cold breastmilk, but he didn't exactly take to it so I spent a long time looking at travel warmers. There were some that would plug into the car, but they would take too long. Then there were some that had little activated warmers, but they were pretty pricey. This one seemed too simple to be true. Just fill the thermos with boiling water and pour it into the lid. The first trip that we tried it on, I decided that it earned an official place in my diaper bag. It gently heats the milk in just a couple of minutes, almost the same amount of time it takes to change a diaper. Once the bottle is heated, since we only used water, I just dump it outside and we're ready to go! We've even used this in the airport. I brought the empty bottle with me and asked one of the coffee shops to fill it up with some hot water. We also like to use this for night feedings upstairs, letting us leave the electric bottle warmer downstairs and one less thing for us to bring up at night. Pros: - Super simple to use. - Hot water stays relatively hot all night. We'll do a feeding at 7pm and another at 5am and the water is still warm enough to heat his bottle sufficiently. - Fits together into one piece. - Small enough that it can fit into my diaper bag. It does get heavy so I typically leave it in the car when I don't plan on using it right away. - Convenient even in airports. Cons: - There is only enough water to heat two bottles. Not really a complaint since this is a travel warmer, not an all-day warmer. - The adhesive used on the packaging sticker. This drove me nuts. The sticker left SO MUCH residue that I spent almost half an hour trying to scrub it all off and there are still spots here and there. I wish companies would think about that when they design packaging. This really is a great product and I highly recommend it. It's going onto my list of items to gift to new parents.

Absolutely love this for warming bags and bottles of milk
Works really well for all different types of bottles or bags. And it keeps them warm for an additional 30 min. I’ve had mine for over 3yrs and it’s still working very well

Great for short outings
Bought this to warm my baby’s bottles on family outings. It is great to keep water warm for a few hours, but if you want it to stay warm all day it definitely won’t last that long. I just love the product in general though and still use it even after my son outgrew his bottles.

PUT THIS ON YOUR REGISTRY! Your Friend doesn't know she needs this - get it for her.
I have been looking for an on-the-go warmer for months. I actually thought there might be one I could plug into a car outlet, but no luck. This was on my Amazon suggestions and I thought it was dumb. I mean, come on - a Tommee Tippee specific bottle warmer? For that price it must be junk. I searched and searched and finally decided "what the he**? I'll just go for it." THIS THING HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! No more trying to warm a bottle with my hands, my thighs, behind my bra. No more paying .99 for a "cup" to simply fill with hot water to warm a bottle. No more asking a waiter to bring a bowl or some kind of container of hot water and watching them scramble to try and find something that fits a Tommee Tippee bottle. (B/C you know they are FAT!). You just boil some water before you leave, put it into the thermos, and go! Pros: Keeps water hot (enough) to warm a bottle for HOURS! We went to Texas RenFest and the water was warm from 9a-9p. The white cup is the perfect size to put the TT bottle in. You don't get that with "just a thermos." The white cup goes over the thermos so it's all in one place. You do not have to take the top of the thermos off to pour water into the cup. Low tech - no need to find an outlet - so you don't have to run back to the car if you are at your other child's soccer game/swim meet/scouting event in the middle of nowhere.... You can also warm other drinks/food in the cup, not only anything Tommee Tippee. Avent bottles, food pouches, even jars of food fit into this cup. Tall bottles like Dr. Browns will fit in this cup! Cost pro- once you purchase this, you do not have to buy additional special heating packs or accessories. I remember seeing a product at B.B.Babystore that could warm items with their special packs. It was not available when I began my search. Cons: If you overfill the thermos and try to put the top on, you might burn yourself with the hot water (this is no fault of the thermos). (True story) Hard to remember if thermos is open or shut. My mother left it open on the way back from somewhere and a bit of the water leaked out. It is one more thing to carry along. (But you're already carrying 20 lbs of related gear, so what's a bit more, right? haha) The cup is too big to fit into a car cup holder, so if using in a vehicle you'll have to hold it. If I know we are going to be out for a while I will pour the water from the cup back into the thermos. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to dump the water after use. I sincerely hope my review on this item helps you. I read a ton of the reviews and wasn't convinced until I purchased and used this item for myself. NOTE: I did not purchase this item to keep water hot in order to make bottles. I purchased ONLY for warming purposes. I would not use the water poured back in for making bottles. You can use the water to make bottles and warm bottles if you didn't return the used water to the container. (I wanted to be sure I said that so no one worries that I'm giving my little dude dirty water!)

Simplified, Beautiful Warming!
Bottom line: This warmer works, and it's simple. You add the same amount of water (9 oz.) regardless of what you are warming, then press three buttons to program in what you're warming. The warmer will set the timer for you based on the options you select (note: timer is internal; there is no timer display). When it beeps, dump the water out and feed your child. I was having trouble getting our 2-month old to take re-heated milk. I suspected temperature was the issue since he took powdered formula just fine, which I was mixing with microwave-heated water. Heating a bottle under a running faucet was time- and labor-intensive, and frustrating as all get out as I found myself trying to hold a bottle under nearly scalding water with one hand and balance a fussy baby with the other. Enter the bottle warmer. I did not want to take a chance on a non-branded imported warmer with an abnormal number of 5-star reviews. I looked at the 8 warmers listed as "compatible" by our bottle manufacturer, Comotomo, as well as some name brand (Graco, Chico, etc) warmers and one-by-one crossed them off my list for various reasons. One finalist in my search was the Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature warmer, replaced by the Easi-Warm model. It's the one with a knob and three settings. Not only is not designed for food jars when baby is older, but it doesn't have auto shutoff or a built-in timer! The "Advanced" model solves this issue completely. Once you read the instructions, the buttons are all self-explanatory. 1st column: Bottle (plastic), Bottle (glass), Pouch 2nd column: Room temp, Refrigerated, Frozen 3rd column: Amount of milk The combination of settings determines the timer setting. Warming is accomplished by a water bath, not steam. It takes a little longer, but provides reliable and even heating. After the warming cycle is complete, the water bath will maintain the milk temperature for up to 45 minutes. This is AWESOME when baby decides he'd rather poop himself three times or fall asleep instead of eat. If you are warming on the high end of the volume settings, e.g. 3-4 oz. or 5-6 oz., you may need to run a partial second cycle to really get that "straight from the source" temperature. This doesn't add much time because there is no need to dump the water or wait for it to cool down; just press the power button to end the current cycle, then start a new cycle. Press and hold the power button to cancel a cycle in progress. The only downside to this warmer is that it does not have a reservoir; however, the amount of water it needs (9 oz.) is the same regardless of which setting you choose so there is not much thinking required here. One final note: Although this fits Comotomo bottles, I don't warm milk in them. The silicone that these bottles are made of does TOO good of a job when it comes to insulating the contents, and the settings on this warmer were not designed for insulated bottles. Instead I use a pump bottle, warm up the milk, then dump it into the Comotomo. One extra step that makes a world of difference.

Does What It Says
This is basically a thermos with a cup to put the bottle and water in to warm it. You basically boil water and keep it in the thermos so if you are out some where or it's the middle of the night or you just don't water to wait for water to boil for every bottle you already have the water ready. Some people are critical of that but it works well for us. We switched our kids to soft tipped sippy cups at 5.5 months so they can hold it with handles (the Nuk kind) and those fit in this cup too. It doesn't hold a ton of water, maybe enough for three or four small bottles (2-3oz) and two 6-8oz bottles. The reason it depends isn't because of the bottle size but how much formula needs to be warmed up. Obviously more formula needs more hot water to heat it up. How long it takes depends how hot the water was when you put it in and how long it's been sitting. Here has been my experience: We make homemade formula so it is always cold from the fridge (this might also be the case if you are using thawed breast milk or refrigerated formula from concentrate). If you are using room temp formula made from the powdered stuff your times will definitely be much shorter. If you fill it up with the hottest water you can get (we use a tea kettle because it's easier to pour) before you go to bed and your baby wakes up twice at night for no more than 4oz, you will likely still have enough for a third bottle first thing in the morning. The first bottle will heat up the fastest - about 3 minutes (so one you change baby's diaper you won't have to wait too much). The second and third ones might take 5 minutes but that's still not as bad as going to the kitchen, waiting for water to boil, plus waiting for the bottle to heat up. When we were doing night feedings we kept enough bottles for the night in a lunch box with a few ice packs so we wouldn't have to go to the kitchen. We use about 6-7oz now. If you fill it up until the bottle starts to float a little you will maybe have to wait 3-4 minutes for the first bottle and 5-8 minutes for the second one (especially if you don't have enough water. If you're worried about running out of hot water during long trips or outings, keep in mind most gas stations have hot water ready and are happy to fill up your thermos if you've run empty or the water has gotten too cold. And in all likelihood you won't have to stop to warm up the next bottle. 8 hours is about the max for keeping water hot enough to warm something from the fridge. Update - We used this for a year with my now 2 year old and have been using it for the past 6 months with our youngest. We've dropped it on the ground outside a few times so it's a little dented and scratched but it hasn't affected usage. It still stays warm just as long. We have since gotten an electric kettle (with auto shut off since my husband almost caught the house on fire with the regular stove kettler we were using). This works perfectly when we travel because we can plug in the kettle even at a hotel when we have no stove. And if you were going to travel a lot and be in the car you could get an adapter so you could plug it into your car lighter.

Good warmer
This bottle warmer is ok. You have to leave it in for one or two cycles depending on if the bottle is cold from the fridge or cold room temp. I like that it doesn’t get gross like typical bottle warmers.
