Exact fit, worked great!
Had a fault code for it, verified the orginal one was defective with a ohmmeter, easy fix. Overall, good value and quick delivery.

Excellent replacement
My 1998 Dodge Ram was experiencing rough shifting, slow acceleration, and increased RPMs just to maintain a routine 65mph. Diagnostic showed a P072 code indicating need for replacement speed sensor. Install was simple, just a 1 inch, deep socket and reconnect the wiring harness. Done!!! Didn't even have to reset the check engine light producing the code. Started the truck up after install and the check engine light was gone.

Perfect fit, relatively easy to install
Best price I could find anywhere. Didn't have trouble code, but replaced due to symptoms. Made shifting a lot better but not fully right. Will follow up in spring with shift solenoid and solenoid sensor replacements at filter/fluid change.

Good quality sensor.
Sensor did exactly as it was supposed to do. Good quality part, cleared my PO720 code on my 2002 Dodge Durango. I never doubt Dorman products.

P0720 code fixed
2000 Dodge Ram 1500. Delivered next day. I had a P0720 Check Engine Light OBD2 code. This replacement fixed the issue. Just remember to reset the computer on the car by disconnecting the negative battery terminal and using something electronic to drain any capacitors (headlights/radio/brake lights).

Fits my1999 Dodge Ram 1500
Looks and feels like the factory part. Check engine light went away once I connected the battery and started the truck.

I had to replace this part on my '96 Dodge Cummins 2500. I think it uses a 1" deep socket. No problem installing it and it fixed my shifting problem. Just to add, months later I had to replace the transmission relay, when it defaulted to 3rd gear only. My 47re is working great.

My vehicle was showing OBDII Error Codes P0700, P0706 and P0731. Research said I had faults in my transmission sensors. Sure enough, I pulled out the input sensor and the entire top was cracked open and full of metal shavings stuck to the magnet. I decided to replace both the input and the output sensors at the same time. This item was exactly what I needed. It was very easy to install in my 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan. (I'm a woman, and I did it by myself. Granted, I have a bit of automotive experience, but this was no more difficult than changing the oil or a tire.) Still doing it's job smoothly 6+ months later!
