what's the difference between this one and serious mass?

This is much easier to digest, healthier, better protein and nutrients and only one scoop compared to 4 which becomes chalky and hard to drink. This tastes a lot better than serious mass and is much easier to drink overall. I drank this with reduced fat milk for 3-4 months straight and gained 20 lbs. of course I was also tracking and lifting weights, but this helped a ton to get those extra 800 calories I needed that I couldn’t obtain through meals and a lot of cooking.

I'm most concerned about it causing gas. Any comments?

NO Gas with vanilla custard and i give this to my 98 yr old MOTHER who weight 80 LBS as a supplement !! SHE Wd get it cuase shes in a wheelchair- Just finished a 10 lb bag.. DO need to drink WATER cuase HIGH protein can stop u up.. I also add ice cream to it:) tastes great! Good stuff- Doc approved! Shes in GREAT shape + he does Labs on her al the time.

If this is so good, it makes me wonder why it has twice the protein and is $45 cheaper per 10lb bag than Gold Standard - the same company.

Which Gold Standard are you looking at? This is a lean weight gainer vs protein vs bulking weight gainer. Sometimes the wholesalers give us deals if we purchase a large amount at a time. Some sellers (myself included) will discount the price in relationship with the "cost" associated with the product I sell.
