Vintage Looking Alarm Without the Vintage Alarm Quality
Do not buy. The alarm does not go off when promised, and it is very cheaply made. The size is great, and the face is easy to read, but it won't wake you up on time. I love the vintage look, but I wish the vintage quality came with this clock.

Bought for mom who wanted an old-school alarm clock for travel. It works nicely/easily and is a good value for the price. Folds up into container nicely. Does have an audible tick.

My Search for a Nice Practical Travel Alarm Clock is not over
The image and my first impression were, "Nice, almost like my old leather-wrapped Junghans(?) that lasted more than half a century making sure I did not miss any trains or planes in countries, where the hotel reception forgot a wakeup call and many others." Unfortunately, the little winding screws are tiny and hard to wind, unless you cut your nails down to the fingertip. So I am back to searching for another replacement because I am returning this one. Sorry, I thought my search was over. .

Not Sturdy, Very Quiet Alarm
Keeps time well, but is not at all sturdy: a fall from 2 feet onto carpet broke the clock free from the case - flimsy design. If I'd known it was made in China, I'd probably have looked for something else. Alarm is VERY quiet; so if you're a sound sleeper, you might want another product. Years ago I had a travel alarm that lasted a LONG time - not this one.
