Does it's job

After buying a set of Method “standard” bright alloy 17” wheels for my 2017 Tacoma Sport 4x4, I found that lug nuts were not included. With the truck already at the local shop for the install and needing lugs immediately, I went to the nearest 4x4 accessories shop hoping to find a compatible set - which fortunately I found in stock. After installation was completed I then researched the correct socket to add to my tools for personal use. Seeing the helpful review here on Amazon.com written by “Petro”, stating that he bought this same socket for his Tundra wheels - I decided to order two for myself, since the spline and size data seemed identical. The sockets fit my lugs perfectly without “slop”. The wall is adequately thin so they won’t contact the deep lugnut sidewalls during turning - and yet the socket’ wall seems plenty strong enough to hold up for proper torque - and the tool’s longevity. The powder coating and length of the socket are also great by design and having the tool end fitted with the two popular sized nuts make it easy to adapt to the OEM lug wrench or a standard socket and breaker bar application. There are some cheaper ones advertised that might also work. But I can recommend this model with full confidence since it DOES FIT PERFECTLY for my application. It would be easier if there were more positive descriptions given by wheel vendors - so doubtless matchups could be purchased. However - the advertised product data on this site gives all of the correct dimensions for those who have the time and a pair of calipers to take measurements with. In either case, this socket is a perfect match for the lug nuts I have.

Have not used, but fits perfectly and the wall is thicker that the one I had before.

Purchased my son's car second hand from a small dealer that picks up cars from the local auto auction. Two years later and we needed to replace his tires only to find that there are locking lug nuts and no key. Local auto parts stores did not carry the 7 Point Spline that we needed. Hubby ordered from another "Prime" seller only to be told that we would not receive the part for almost a week. I logged in, found this socket key from European Motor Werke and had it delivered the same day! Perfect, exactly as advertised and with two, I'm less worried about my son being stranded on the side of the road should he ever have a blow out!
