Heavy duty design, EASY to install
My 2007 Ram 1500 4X4 is a great truck, but was a little weak on the rear suspension with much of a load. I've been wanting to beef it up and don't know why I waited so long. These Ride Rite air bags are fantastic. I really can't express how easy they were to install. They are literally made for this truck. I used my floor jack on the hitch to raise the rear end about 2 inches, unbolted the factory overload stops, and these things just went right in. I didn't even remove the rear wheels. The clamp bolts have long threads which took a lot of wrenching, but everything went right in easily. Absolutely no drilling. Connecting the air lines was SO simple as well. Cut the air line to length and push into the fittings. Done. No leaks. Everything you need is well thought out and provided - and good quality stuff. The only thing not provided, and isn't necessary, is a tee, which can allow easy one-valve filling of both bags. I may add this some time, but it's not a big deal. My truck can now tow our camper without the slightest squat, and it handles a lot better as well. Even without a load at 7 PSI in them, it seems to feel better on rough roads. I really can't say enough good about these. I hope they last. Photo is of the drivers side, rear view.

Absolutely worth it!
I ordered this kit for my 2006 Ram 1500. Install only took about two hours, some of which was spent fiddling with my tools and the weathered bolts on my truck. Some pre set up could save quite a bit of time. Install was easy and fairly uncomplicated. Parts for right where they should. The only drawback i will mention was the heat shield on the passenger side was too difficult to mount as it was cut just a little bit off and blocked the mounting bolt installation to the frame. No big deal though, a small spot weld took care of that. Some jb weld would work as well. You just have to play with the fit. The ride is noticeably better! Especially under load. I pull a 30' travel trailer and the air bags make a world of difference! Totally worth it for a more secure ride.

Everything was made with great quality but the bottom side axle mounts
Everything was made with great quality but the bottom side axle mounts. With minimal torquing(not even hand tight) they began to bend and deform. Seems to me that they need to build the brackets with the same size thickness as the top brackets. Other than that the install was easy and clear. They work very well when adding a trailer. I have an AWD Ram 1500 and you need to have the driveline angles perfect when driving. When putting a trailer on the back it would misalign and make towing a nightmare. The truck would violently shake on acceleration before I put these on. Now it keeps my angles happy and the ride just as if I wasn't towing.

Great air bags, fairly easy install.
Fairly easy to install. It took me about 3 hours, but I don't have air tools, and I'm not a mechanic. Didn't need to jack up my 06 Ram 1500 for installation. Also, didn't need to keep the bags depressed to install. One small issue: the brass push connect fittings are easy to use, but part of the instructions say to cut a 6" piece and attach the air chuck to the other end to keep the bags depressed for install. Turns out those brass fittings are super hard to release when they are up inside the guts of the truck. Save yourself the time and don't put the small pieces on the airbag. Also, the instructions aren't the most helpful. I found a YouTube video that helped a lot. But even that doesn't really spell it out that much. 1. Attach the bag to the frame, then put the Ubolt around the springs, then attach around the axle.

Happy with purchase
Fairly easy to install, really helped keep the rear on the truck level. Only 60 psi still kept it level with 6000 pounds of the car trailer. 07 ram 1500

Easy installation, works as advertised.
Installed on 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 single cab. Did not need to take off the wheels, did not need to compress the bag just jack up the back and everything fell into place. The bolts are long to accommodate lift kits so it takes some wrenching to get them tight. I was impressed that all dimensions of the mounting brackets were perfect. Installation time of the bags is probably 1.5 hours, installation of the tubing another hour.

Huge difference with a large travel trailer on a half ton
I installed these on my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 to help when towing a new 31' travel trailer. The tongue weight is at the max for the truck and even with a good weight distributing hitch I had some serious rear end sag. Adding these bags took about 30-45 minutes and was very easy. With about 45lbs of air in them (they max at 100lbs) the rear of the truck is in the same position as when it is unloaded. This has improved the ride and also helped insure that we are not bottoming out the suspension and our headlights are not shining high. Unless you need to have a different setup on one side or the other I'd recommend getting the T fitting for the airlines and plumb out a single fill valve.

Tried to install this kit on 2008 Ram 1500 4x4 ...
Tried to install this kit on 2008 Ram 1500 4x4. One of the large brackets, that sits between the axle and the air spring, was hanging up on the hard brake line on the rear of the axle. After finding a manual for a different Ride Rite kit that said it may be necessary to bend brake lines out of the way, I bent the line just enough so that the bracket was not touching it. It still would not seat down on the axle enough. I uninstalled the air spring assembly from the other side and tried it. It fit perfectly. I pulled both assemblies out and compared them. The problem bracket had the factory bends 1/4" off. I will try to post a photo of the brackets; the one on the right is the defective one. The one on the left is the one that works, and you can see that the three "ears" that are bent at 90 degrees from the main body are all bent in the exact same spot. The bends on the faulty bracket are not only in the wrong place, but they are about 10 degrees over 90 a well. To add insult to injury, the moron that fabricated the part also stamped the part number upside down. I am usually forgiving when there is a problem with a product, but I just can't understand how the fabricator could have bent the two outside ears differently from the middle one, and at more than 90 degrees, without catching it.

Delivery was great and accurate
Delivery was great and accurate. I installed this system on my 2011 ram 1500 istallation is easy instructions are ididot proofed ,take your time in running the air lines and make sure they are protected very well because you get a leak in one of the lines and you have no suspension since you have to remove your springs. High quality material I would recommend it.

Good as advertised
Worked like a charm with relatively easy install. Levels off the rear end with heavy trailer.

Awesome air bags and easy install
Awesome air bags and easy install. However, it was missing 1 bolt and 2 nuts, luckily I was able to find replacements in my stash. Also my tucks jouncer bolts snapped when I removed them and with this kit you are required to use them and I had already bolted the top plate to the air bag. With the bolts snapped off I decided I’d weld the plate to the frame and bolt the plate onto the airbag after (just barely enough room to do that) because I didnt want to melt the air bag from welding. But the bolt just spun in the air bag when I went to undo the nut. So I realize my trucks weak jouncer bolts is not the sellers problem, it’s just unfortunate the bolts just spun on the airbag so I couldn’t remove them. Instead I soaked a wet towel around the rubber of the airbag and welded the top plate on (carefully so I wouldn’t electrocute myself). Over all I love the product and even with looking for missing hardware and dealing with snapped bolts and trying to find a way to weld it on without wrecking anything I still had them both on and pumped up with air in 1.5 hours. The bottom plates bolt on beautifully.

Super easy instal
Super easy instal. Very straight forward. What a difference in ride, towing and empty. Mounts are all thick. Bolts seem to be good quality. Parts bag was I'm guessing popped during transit spilling everything over the box. Box was damaged with about a 3inch hole in it. Luckily nothing was damaged it was right between where both airbags were sitting. Ended up only loosing one washer. Over all super pleased.
