I took a chance on this one and I am so glad I did. Yes, out of the bag, you get the fold wrinkles. After its first use, I folded it and put it back in the bag, so I expect there to be fold wrinkles again the next time I need it. All you need to do is a quick rinse and spin cycle in the wash and a half hour in the dryer (take it out immediately), and the wrinkles are gone - no ironing or steaming required.It did get a little dirty, but that was my fault because it was mostly on the floor and I was stepping all over it. I don't mind if I can't wash the scuffs out because I feel like it gives the cloth some character. Anyway, that's more reason to wash and dry it every time.

This backdrop does the trick. You'll have to iron the heck out of it as it arrives quite wrinkled, but the material is easy to iron. I usually hit it with a portable steamer when I am on location and need a more polished look.

A must have for portraits and product photography. Very versatile. Just needs a little ironing out of the bag.

This is the cheapest looking backdrop I’ve ever bought. It’s paper thin, see through and very easy to absorb moisture stains. It literally looks like a regular piece of silk fabric you can buy at joanns.

This meets my needs, I just do basic photography. But this appears to be high quality.
