Sturdy and great for job. Fits the gaps of the original Edwardian air brick which has been damaged.

I was in the market for an iron air brick to replace whatever I had previously which just crumbled away. I painted it with some anti rust paint (a couple of coats) and it came out very well. I had it fitted by a professional which was fine and looks great. It has started to rust, as a couple of others have stated, but not to the point where it will fail (I hope so anyway) or look rubbish. Maybe next time I'll give it another coat or just coat the bits that I can see to give it an extra layer of protection.

This is a good product at a decent price but.... it needs to be sealed or painted before installation otherwise it will rust (hence the bad reviews). The seller should probably make this clearer top avoid confusion.
