I believe this is the best midrange gaming laptop for the buck. Performance is as advertised, no disappointments. My son loves it too, plays all his games with no issues. Who cares about battery life. Can't beat it for the money.

Great Bag for the Buck! Everything works great. Small amount of lightbleed, but easy to upgrade! Games run great! Cooling system works great (with undervolt) for such a small chassis. I'd buy again... :D

Value for money. Only problem I had witb laptop is battery life is not that long but I can understand with that kit inside it's hard to balance both out.

I Love this laptop. I game a lot on it and it can handle anything that I play. It does run a little hot and I had to re-paste the CPU/GPU and have had not issues with it since. I play Borderlands 3, Witcher 3, WOW, Final Fantasy XIV, Fallout and a lot of older games on high/ultra setting with no issues. This has been a great gaming laptop and I will definitely be getting another Acer product when I finally give it to the wife and buy another.

Less than a month in, afflicted with locally unresolvable audio issues. Sent in for repairs (takes a week to ship, the 20 days to repair, then another week back). Still unresolved. Would really be nice to have a working computer, especially having paid so much for a good new one.

When I unboxed it I loved the presentation, a specialty box was a nice touch. Startup and setup presented no issues although the Microsoft suite really wants you to use a Microsoft account. Screen quality is great, system runs stable and very fast. I installed a Samsung 2TB SSD and 500GB M.2 drive with ease, about 15 minutes if you really take your time. The battery life of the laptop is good and will give you as advertised battery life for most functions but if you are going to run a load-heavy game like Escape from Tarkov, have your power cable with you. The game places pretty heavy demands on the CPU and GPU which drains the battery quickly. Other than being picky about the battery, can't recommend this laptop enough!

Not very impressed (yet) with this particular brand of computer. My son ordered it to use as his laptop for his freshman year in college. After owning it for only a month, it completely died on him (during Labor Day weekend)...not able to turn on and no evidence of charging. He called the manufacturer and spoke with a customer service rep who suspected a hardware failure, but he had great difficulty communicating with the representative and was not convinced that his information was received accurately. Not great news for a new freshman on campus who had an assignment due the day after Labor Day, no laptop, and no way to access his IT department at school during a holiday weekend to see if they could fix it. I called Amazon to report the failure and they were great! They not only provided a $300 refund for the inconvenience, they sent a replacement out which he received the Wednesday after Labor Day. I sent the defective one back to Amazon. So far, all is well with the replacement, but if he experiences another similar failure we will definitely be buying a different brand.

I brought this laptop last month, so far so good. Really fast and compact. If I need to mention something negative (no major problem), the fan makes a little noise (constant) and the surface has my fingerprints in all parts (material issue). But, I believe that you gonna enjoy it a lot.
