I bought two more for my collection as the ones I bought 3 or 4 years ago a still really good but I often want a couple more.

Okay I have not used these in anger yet but they seem to be a very decent piece of kit for the money. Sound quality seems good but I have only tested them by putting one on a table and me speaking into the other from the other side of the room. They will get tested properly this weekend. Build quality is nice and the water resistance techniques very evident. There is even a "BURP" function to assist in blowing out any water that gets in the speaker grille. Nice touch that but not sure I'll get to use it. However the water seal in the battery compartment makes it very difficult to get the battery door off without some careful prying with a screwdriver but then again I suppose it has to be that way to do its job so this is not really a complaint. My only immediate problem with these Walkie Talkies was the supplied batteries. Yes they are the memoryless, Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMh) type which is good for multiple recharges but while fit for purpose, I noticed that are only 850 mAh at 1.2v. I wanted to replace them with something that would last a lot longer from a full charge so I purchased Duracell Ultra NiMh 1.2v 2500 mAh batteries. When I came to put these in the battery compartment I was surprised to find out what a tight fit they were compared to the supplied batteries, to the point that when trying to put the 3rd battery in, one of the other two popped out again. It took some squeezing to get all three Duracells in the compartment sufficiently to be able to get the door back on. So I decided to do a comparison (images attached). As you can see the from the first 3 photos, the supplied generic rechargeable batteries are slightly shorter that the Duracell rechargeables. At first I thought that it was the Duracells that were wrong and were slightly bigger than a normal AA battery so I decided to put a normal AA battery into the comparison as well. Looking at the last 3 photos you can see that indeed the generic rechargable Aa battery supplied with the Walkie Talkies is slightly shorter than both Duracell AA batteries. The last photo shows that the generic rechargeable battery is also slightly narrower on the cross-section than a standard AA battery which is why the Duracells try to pop out again when putting in the 3rd battery. In summary, these seem to be a great piece of kit let down by the size of the battery compartment. It only needs to be slightly bigger to accommodate standard AA batteries. I hope the manufacturer takes notice.

Good range and waterproof

These are very easy to use, durable and ideal for hiking trips or boating.

I purchased this item only to find that the base charging unit does not charge the units. Following a long communication with Amazon and a promise that I would be called back two days ago. I am still waiting for a resolution. Not happy

12km range lol. Try 300m that's what I get in urban area. Total crap.

Used them in a road trip, up to 1.5km between the cars with good sound quality. The reception is breaking up but still picking the signal over this distance. The coverage is getting better when used them in a flat area, eg beach.

Estamos muy contentos con el producto y con el vendedor (100% recomendable, pendiente, contesta rápido, ayuda y da soluciones). Hice una primera compra y uno de los conectores minijack daba error. El vendedor me facilito todo el proceso de devolución y como yo realmente lo que quería era cambio y a través de Amazon no daban esa posibilidad (solo se podía devolución) el vendedor me facilitó un código de descuento por el inconveniente de terner que devolver y volver a comprar. Los compré para usar esquiando, su residencia al agua (de lo que he visto en el mercado son los que más tienen) nos ha venido muy bien, han caído a la nieve y están perfectos. Actúan bien habiendo bastante distancia y en montaña. La batería dura bastante, nosostros empezábamos a usarlos a las 9 más o menos y nos duraban hasta las 4 y algún día con batería de sobra, dependiendo del uso y de lo que estuviera activo con el vox. Además, como al hacer la primera prueba los cascos que vienen con el producto no me convencían mucho (porque los que vienen hacen un poco de daño en la oreja y para hablar tienes que pulsar el botón), compré por separado unos cascos de la marca que han funcionado a la perfección con el sistema vox que tienen los walkies incorporados (hablar con manos libres, activado por voz). La única pega, por poner una sería que donde van enchufados los cascos tiene una tapa que para poder conectarlos se queda colgando y esa parte queda desprotegida del agua (es donde también está el conector USB para la carga) en nuestro caso que íbamos siempre con los cascos puestos lo veíamos como punto débil. A tener en cuenta: La tapa trasera donde van las pilas es muy complicada de quitar, hay que dejar el tornillo un poquito sujeto en la tapa y con la ayuda de algo (nosotros usamos un hilo grueso) tirar para que salga bien, en caso contrario no sale (esto viene en las instrucciones, que están en español).

Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Qualität und Reichweite der Walkie Talkies. Wir haben uns diverse Kinder Walkie Talkies angeschaut. Diese sind fast alle bezüglich Reichweite und Qualität der Sprache unterirdisch schlecht. Diese Geräte sind zwar etwas teurer aber deutlich besser. Mann kann sie auch gut für ab 4 jährige Kinder gut konfigurieren. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen.

Fallo tapa pilas. Imposible de quitar, está incrustada y no sale de ninguna manera. Debe ser un fallo de fabricación buscando que el producto sea acuatico/hermético. Una lástima, tienen buena pinta pero después de 3 días aún sin poder usar.

Für meine Zwecke ist das Produkt sehr gut. Die finale Reichweite konnte/musste ich nicht testen, da Enfernungen jenseits von 750 m nicht in Gebrauch sind. Die Sprachqualität im Umkreis der 750 m ist hervorragend und die Geräte machen einen wertigen Eindruck. Ausschlaggebend war für uns die Wetterfestigkeit, Sprachqualität und das leichte Handling, da auch unsere Kinder (5 & 6)damit kommunizieren müssen. Wenn Sie auch den Spielplatz sind oder im Wald spielen möchte ich Sie jederzeit erreichen können. Das angeschlossene Headset quietsch einem richtig laut ins Ohr, daher kann ich Dieses überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Ansonsten sind die Geräte Top und robust.
