Can this unit be used indoor?

Yes, works great indoors. The Zap might be a bit loud though. My dog runs out the doggy door when he hears the zap.

Does the light still attract mosquitoes during the daytime?

the UV light attracts a ton of bugs at night but day time not so much. The Octenol makes the thing a bug killing fiend but in day time it is lack luster and probably a waste. Every morning it is 100% covered and clogged from mosquitoes and i have to use my data vac to clean it off. I use the 1 acre and 1.5 acre one and both are 100% covered by morning but during the day they hardly kill anything. They work at night well even without the Octenol but it definitely helps to have it. I have terrible mosquitoes here and mine only kills a few so if you are not flooded with them it probably won't do much for you during the day. I have to go outside with bug spray at noon to keep the mosquitoes off -_-

Is there a reason I can't use this indoor?

I've been using mine indoors for years because I don't really care about the bugs outside... I don't want them in my house. This model whacks bugs day and night. it doesn't stink... the hum is loud. Death to the flying insect.

After six months of use the unit quit working and still won't after inserting new bulbs. Can these units be repaired?
