This stuff works better than the fancy stuff I used to use, that cost three times as much! I apply it after I shower, I make sure I exfoliate my legs, and then I apply a little bit of lotion, and apply the mousse with an application mitt. No streaking, no uneven colors, no dark splotches, and most importantly, no weird looking "wood grain" because my shins were too dry. It's the only tanning product I've used that tells you that you can apply lotion first. It makes a huge difference! I only apply it to my legs, and a bottle lasts me almost a year. Some people have complained about a bad smell, I haven't noticed any fragrance to it at all. It doesn't come off on your sheets or clothing, and it lasts for a few days. I apply every 2-3 days, and get legs that have a nice, natural- looking tan all summer long!

This is honestly the best self tanner I’ve tried so far, especially for the price. The mousse texture makes a huge difference compared to lotions — it spreads easily, absorbs well, and doesn’t feel sticky once it starts drying. Another big plus is the smell. It still has a slight self-tanner scent, but it’s much lighter and less overpowering than most others I’ve used. For anyone wondering about dry time: with a fan on, mine felt dry in about 30 minutes. I’d still recommend applying it about an hour before bed just to be safe. I also sleep on a dark blanket or dark sheets the night I use it in case of transfer or staining while it develops. One thing that really helped me get a smoother result was exfoliating about 48 hours beforehand instead of right before application. Prep with moisturizing matters a lot with this product because the color can cling darker to creases, ankles, knees, elbows, or anywhere your skin contours naturally unless you exfoliate a day earlier and moisturize before your application. If you rush the application, it can look patchy in spots. Using a mitt is essential, or else YOUR HANDS WILL GER VERY STAINED!! The biggest downside is the 12-hour development time, so applying an hour before bed and showering upon wake up is the ONLY practical option. That said, the color payoff is strong and gave me a gentle tan after two uses. I did two layers the second time and was pleased to see a faster color buildup compared to the night when I just went over my skin once. Overall, I’d recommend this if you want an affordable self tanner that develops into a noticible bronze color without the super harsh smell some products have. I absolutely loved this self-tanner! I chose the Light Bronze shade, and it gave my skin a beautiful, natural-looking glow without looking orange or fake. It was very easy to apply, blended evenly, and didn’t leave streaks. The color developed nicely and made my legs look smoother and more radiant. I was especially impressed by how natural the result looked in photos. It also felt lightweight on the skin and didn’t feel sticky after it dried. If you’re looking for a subtle sun-kissed glow that’s beginner-friendly, I definitely recommend this product. I will be buying it again! ☀️✨

I'm very pale and avoid the sun like the plague since I just burn, suffer, and then peel back to my natural paleness :) I ordered LIGHT of course, and it worked well for me. Instant color as advertised. One application and I had a natural-looking light tan hue. NO ORANGE I did heed one person's review to "shake it like it owed me money" before use. It's a foam, so if you can hear it moving in the bottle, you didn't shake it enough. I used an application mitt and strongly recommend the use one. I used the Yvoier Self Tanning Mitt Applicator, but you can search amazon for 'tanning applicators' and find others that you might like better. No bleed through the mitt, but I also used a food-grade glove inside the mitt since others had a bleed-through problem. (I truly think bleed depends on how much product you use and how often you wash the mitt.) My mitts wash easily and hang to dry overnight. Some report a pleasant smell, but that's my only complaint. I couldn't wait until the hours passed so I could shower. The smell is not pleasant to me. But that's not going to stop me from having a natural tan this season!

The actual self-tan is good, although can be streaky if you don’t apply it very very well. Doesn’t come off as too orange, my complaint is that it leaked all over my bathroom cabinet and stained it brown.

I'm an extremely pale woman living in the PNW with fear of skin cancer, so sun is a rare commodity for me. I recently decided to try sunless tanning products and tried many that were streaky, orange, stinky, and just overall terrible. After using this product for the warm months (for my area this is April-August), these are my tips for using this product! Exfoliate skin and shave as needed. Apply small amount of lotion to elbows, feet, hands, and knees to avoid splotchiness in those areas. Then apply onto dry skin (I found no lotion was best on the rest of my body until after the tan had dried, often the following morning). I started application on my legs and work my way up. It's best to apply this mousse with a mitt (I purchased mine off of Amazon as well). Apply in circles, making sure to massage into the skin and cover all areas. It's fairly easy to see spots you have missed since there is small color development immediately. I also used a makeup sponge to apply tan to my face. After that, I let it dry for 15-20 minutes, sans clothes. Although it's supposed to dry quicker than that, it really doesn't...especially if you use an average amount of product. I hated to put clothes on while still sticky so I would just go around business as usual until it dried satisfactorily. I would apply at night, let it dry, sleep in it, and then lotion in the morning. Not gonna lie, no fake tan smells great on the skin, and this product is no exception. However, I didn't find it totally offensive, and it was relatively easy to mask with a nice smelling lotion. There was very little transfer to clothes and not too much onto bed sheets. The color that did transfer washed out in the washing machine. Bottom line: there is definitely a learning curve to applying without streaks, although the use of a mitt will help enormously. If you want to maintain an even tan, plan to touch up every 3ish days, exfoliating every other time or whenever needed to start fresh. Don't even think about going into chlorine with this tan, as it will fade it into a splotchy mess! Prolonged use in any water such as lakes, showers, etc will fade it. I didn't notice any breakouts or any detrimental effects to using it on my face, and I have sensitive skin! I would definitely use this product again and recommend it to any other pale people looking for a bit of a sun-kissed look. It looks natural, makes you look toned, and you will receive many compliments on your tan! However, be prepared to spend a lot of time applying and waiting for it to dry. I spent my summer being a slave to fake tan and was wholeheartedly excited to abandon it in autumn. I'm a low maintenance gal and can't stand so much upkeep!

LOVE this tanning mousse. I love the look of a tan but really try to avoid getting too much sun so I love this product. I have been using this brand for years and had never tried the Ultra Deep bronze and I am so happy I did. It's a deep tan and doesn't leave your skin orange at all. I also think it's easy to use in the sense that I never have issues around my elbows or knees absorbing more product and looking weird. Just make sure to exfoliate your skin. I actually use throw away rubber gloves to apply, I know most people buy tanning mitts but I feel like those just absorb so much of the product.

Probably one of the best and most natural self tanners I’ve ever tried… I’m only on here writing review because I’m busy doing what my boyfriend hates most, bulk buying it 🙈 totally worth it if he finds all the bottles hidden in the cupboard.
