Just make sure you have extra batteries because you can go through AAA batteries real quick.
There is no better radar gun on the market, especially as a sports gun. For the price, nothing beats it. Accuracy is fantastic as a base from the bottom you can put it on a tripod to get speed. I recommend when you get the gun there’s a case you can get that protects it in case you drop. It wasn’t bad probably less than $20 for that.

Beware of return policy!
I had seen some positive reviews and loved the price point of this radar gun, but it's simply not accurate compared to the $500+ guns. It was off by at least 15 mph during several different attempts to clock different pitchers at a varsity baseball game. No matter how many different angles we held it at or different spots we aimed toward, it was off. I was really hoping it would perform at this price point, but going to return and have already purchased a more expensive/accurate unit. Even worse is the fact that they are giving me the run around on my return request. And they have a hidden return policy that charges a 30% re-stocking fee. Buyer beware! You better really want this product to go through the agony of dealing with such a shoddy company!

Help your player excel...
I was the envy of every parent at our games last year because of this...they all wanted to know how their son was doing or to watch the competition. Worth the money!

Worked fine...until it didn't
It worked for a year then quit. Now it only reads "4" every time you try to radar something. Looks good, but cheap cost, cheap product.

adjusting for angularity
Unless you are on the exact line of travel of target the values are off by the actual speed times the tangent of the angle between the actual line and the line used by the radar gun. Takes time to learn how to use. If you are trying to get the speed of your car and you are in the car with the device you require a radar reflective object directly in front of you that is not moving. Best way to get car speed is to stand in the middle of the road as the car approaches. The units seems to work a distances of 200 yards and more so there should be time to record the speed and get off the road,

To the point: Excellent and easy to use...accurate. Very cheaply made. Fell apart in two days. Bought it from the lacross ball store. I had to pay the shipping back. Basically cost me money to use for two days. Bad device. Better read your return policies. BD

So far so good. No way to calibrate it
So far so good. No way to calibrate it. It was something I wanted & had with my other radar gun.
