Seiko quality for inexpensive price.
I have a Seiko SKX007 dive watch with a 7S26 movement that became very inaccurate. The 7S26 is basically a "disposable" movement since it costs more to overhaul it than to buy a new one. I upgraded to the higher grade NH36A which Seiko's "unbranded" 4R36 movement used in more expensive watches. The movement plus installation by a watch maker cost less than the cost of overhauling the 7S26. It is accurate to within 3 seconds a day and is hackable (second hand stops with stem is pulled out) and can be stem-wound. Neither of those features is present on the 7S26.

As expected, just needed to be adjusted.
Bought it so that I could upgrade the movement on my Seiko Sea Urchin (SNZF21) - the only complaint that I have is that when I received it, it was running about 45 seconds fast per day. I am comfortable adjusting it, so after tinkering with it for a few days I got it at -14 seconds per day which is fine for now, I may try to get it closer to 0 but I can live with it.

Accurate and fit perfectly
I can't believe how expensive these have gotten. It wasn't long ago that this was a $25 movement all day, but I guess times have changed. Anyway, one of my favorite builds was running waaaay fast, so I wanted to replace the movement so I could get it back in rotation and I'll figure out what is going on with the other one later. Probably magnetized. Easy to fix. 10 minutes after I took the caseback off I was screwing it back down again and the build was complete. It has been keeping excellent time. Only the standard couple seconds off per day for the last month or two since I popped it in. I guess maybe I should stock up in case the price on these doubles again or something....

Better than expected.
I was concerned that this may not keep time well. I used this to upgrade my skx007j and it works perfectly. Time runs about +3 to 5 seconds per day. I've been using the watch for several weeks now and it's very consistent. I would highly recommend.

Runs consistently slow
I bought this to replace a broken 7S36 movement in a Seiko SNZJ, and to its credit, it's clearly a Seiko NH36A movement, and it fits in all the places you'd expect. But unlike all the other Seiko movements I've had hands on, including other NH36s, this one consistently runs slow by 10-15 seconds per day. I keep it wound, I wear it all day every day, and every week I have to add a minute to it. My experience with Seiko movements has always been that they run pretty close to +/-30s per day, resulting in roughly 30 seconds one way or the other per month, depending on the watch. The 7S36 that came out of this watch would consistently lose 20 seconds per month. (Of course running fast some days and slow others) But this one loses 10-15 seconds every day. If this is a regulated movement, it's been done poorly. But for the price, it's hard to really complain about that. I didn't expect a perfect movement for what I paid, and I can't say I'm particularly disappointed with what I got. I would, to be honest, probably buy from this seller again. Just keep your expectations in check.
