Wisdom of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives From The Michael Newton Institute

This book is a collaborative effort from hypnotherapists connected with the Michael Newton Institute. The authors gathered dozens of case studies from life between lives regression sessions to share wisdom and insights about the spiritual path of souls incarnating on Earth. The book is easy to read and well organized. It begins introducing the work of Dr. Michael Newton and his development of an approach to regression therapy that focuses on leading clients to access their spiritual guides and wisdom shared in the spiritual realm. I have in the past read Newton's books (Newton passed on in 2016) and integrated what I learned about his approach into the regression therapy sessions I facilitate, as I often have clients access the between lives realm even though I don't usually have sessions going as long as a typical session provided by those fully following the Newton Institute protocol. For a detailed outline of his process I'd recommend the book Life Between Lives. This current multi-author book presented by those who are furthering his work and research presents a range of case study examples that address major life issues and challenges that people might desire insight about. From health challenges to career and job concerns, family relationships and romantic relationships, habits and addictions, to concerns about aging and death and life purpose, you will find stories covering all these subjects. This book goes into the process of how souls plan key aspects of their incarnations and how one's path can involve twists and revisions. The cases in the book are presented with narrative summaries as well as quotes from session transcripts, where the wisdom of spiritual guides or souls is often shared to help bring a new understanding of the patterns and issues in people's lives. I found that this book offers useful guidance and shares representative examples of what regression sessions can be like. Since the cases were carefully collated for this purpose I will point out that not everyone is ready or able to access the level or depth of guidance and recall that are exhibited in these sessions. Also, this book doesn't explore more esoteric subjects or phenomena that can arise in regressions, such as non-human incarnations and extraterrestrial interactions. Wisdom of Souls focuses on the personal issues that most people would be interested in learning about, so if you are interested in some paranormal matters I would suggest the books by Dolores Cannon that share those types of case studies and stories. Overall I found Wisdom of Souls to be well written and a good introduction to regression therapy and its great value for healing and personal growth. It is a book suitable for both professionals and laypersons.

If you believe that hypnotherapy can reveal the subconscious then you will probably really enjoy this book. Read Journey of Souls from Michael Newton before this one. Excellent!

If you believe in the after life then this ia an excellent read.

What a creative writer. Intriguing! He has helped so many people with the misunderstandings in each individuals life, a unique approach to psychiatry. He must be a level 5 here on earth for the purpose of giving us guidance. I did not hear any mention of Jesus as he is very active in other regression books? After all he did open the door. I did find one contradiction in the book however slight could be just a misunderstanding. Enjoyable inspirational hopeful and i for one would enjoy being his client

I must say, I wanted to give this book 4 stars, as even though it is great, it is very noticeable, that the book was not created by Michael Newton Himself. But still, the book IS A MUST FOR EVERYONE, WANTING TO KNOW THE TRUTH. THE REAL TRUTH OF LIFE AND DEATH. Also, it is great that the book gives the list and the contact of the students of Michael Newton Himself, so people can find their own specialists. I am grateful this book was created

It is so good to know that we have an infinite number of chances to get things right, and to advance, spiritually, despite limitations in the physical realm. AdditionalIy comforting, is the knowledge that, no matter how difficult or challenging life is, we chose to have trying experiences in order to learn and to grow.

Five years ago I would have dismissed this book as a collection of hear say about the afterlife, however, recently I have been reading numerous books on the subject and even decided to take a life after life journey myself. I can now say from experience that the information conveyed in this book is valid and can be extremely helpful if you ever wondered where you came from, why you are here, and what happens when you physically die. If you decide to read this book though, I will warn you that parts of it you are not going to like. Those are the parts that we as humans have the most difficultly accepting (i.e. unconditional love). I would highly recommend that you plow through those parts and accept what you can at this point in your life. Who knows maybe at some point in the future you may be gifted with a more comprehensive picture of all that is.
