Made a 15% solution by weight. Brushed it over some highly rusted iron garden tools, like magic the old rust turned into a shinny dark finish as if I had sand down the rust and painted it with a coat or black paint. If the past, I felt helpless when I saw rust, but now, no worries. This tannic solution would stop it. Pain it with a coat of exterior paint I am all set.

Great product make sure you use distilled water.ThIs is used by the military going back to the 40s .I have tried very thing from spray to gels this works the best.
