A grommet kit is necessary to fit
It was clearly stated in the description itwould fit my 2017 Equinox. What they didnot state was a separate grommet kit wasRequired to make it fit. This cap is ventilated and is essential in maintaininga longer life span of GM's 2.4 L engine. Without it oil pressure builds to the pointthat it blows out the rear main seal and dumps oil at a dangerous velocity leavingthe vehicle "dry", before a lot of consumers notice. Luckily I had properlysized to fit. I was happy with the quality ofthe piece though.

Breather cap, looks nice!
I used this on my Big Block engine. It looks nice on the black valve covers. Pretty standard breather cap so not much more I can say.

This worked great for my new GM valve covers. Please be sure that they fit in your valve cover. The breather holes are different sizes.
