It’s a fake
This is not the real thing. The real OGX Bonding made my hair feel silky smooth and this fake made it feel dry. They smell is off as well.

Stripped hair, worse than any shampoo ever, so awful!
Made hair tangle like velcro-frizz city. Wondered if tampered pkg (60 minutes showed knock off or discount stores marketing false product... Not original product inside containers sold at outlets) but all 'new' recipe in this brand seem to do the same.

Absolutely love it!!!
I am obsessed with this shampo, conditioner, and leave in treatment!! I have colored and bleached my hair a lot and needed something to revive it and after the first use I've noticed a difference! My hair is curly but with all the bleaching I've done throughout the years it has taken some abuse and my the end of the day would be just a frizzy mess! This stuff has it looking beautiful ALLLLLL DAAYYYY LLLONGGGG!! if u want healthy beautiful curls on ur natural curly hair then use this you will be glad u did!!!

Works well, but you have to blow your hair out.
I like this three part system, with this product being the third. Use a wet brush to brush hair while wet and work through the ends. I feel you have to blow your hair out when you use this product. I tried to let my hair dry naturally and it felt weird. If you blow your hair out after use, it really works. I have a lot of hair, but the strand itself is thin. The ends have a tendency to bush out if I don’t do keratin treatment, which can be really expensive. I think this is a great alternative to salon keratin treatments. However, you have to blow your hair out, preferably with a round brush until it’s completely dry.

Worth trying out!!
I got the OGX Restoring + Bonding Plex set (1,2 & 3) and the set works great! My hair has been bleached and while it is still pretty healthy I have some dryness and frizz issues. For the record my hair is curly and almost waist length. After the first time using this I already saw an improvement. My hair felt so soft and strong. The price is sustainable and worth a shot if your hair needs some TLC but you don't want to spend a bunch to get there.

It’s the best hair product I’ve ever used!
I love this product SOOOO much! It has given new life to my hair after it was damaged from over bleaching. I purchased this and the All Plex Shampoo and Conditioner and the combination saved my hair for a fraction of the price of Olaplex and with so much more product! I literally recommend these to everyone I know, no matter the shape of their hair because it’s so great! I just shampoo and condition like normal (the All Plex makes a difference too) and then I wring out my hair with an old T-shirt and when it’s damp I put 1 or 2 pumps in my hand, rub my hands together and rub it through the ends of my hair where they’re damaged. It doesn’t weight down my hair either which I found was a problem with other products. It’s saved me from having to get my hair chopped off!

It’s ok but I wouldn’t buy again.
First, the cap wasn’t on tightly and a bunch of it spilled out into the bag. The product itself smells nice but didn’t really do much for my hair. It felt like weighed down frizz. It still looked poofy and out of control. Toward mid day I started to feel oily. I will try it a few more times but wasn’t impressed the first two days.

Impressed
This was a find I saw by accident and I’m SO happy I did. This three step system has impressed me thus far. I’ve never used the Olaplex system, but I’ve wanted to. I didn’t pull the trigger due to the price. So I can’t say that this combo is equivalent, but I like what I’m seeing!

OXG HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLED OUT
I was really excited to use the shampoo and conditioner unfortunately it does contain sodium Sulfate... which is a Sulfate bad for your hair and will strip it #imahairdresser

Olaplex 4, 5 and 6 vs OGX Bonding Plex 1, 2 and 3
*This is a long review but I couldn’t find this comparison anywhere else so hopefully it helps someone! Skip to the end for final thoughts*Note: My hair is naturally brunette with 5% grey, medium/fine, mostly virgin hair with some balayage lightening in the ends. I have naturally straight hair that’s 18- 20inches longAt the start of March I couldn’t get to the hairdressers so decided to invest the money in the Olaplex range instead to improve the condition of my hair. I bought Olaplex 3 (treatment), 4 (shampoo), 5 (conditioner), 6 (bond smoother styling creme)and 7 (oil). After the first use my hair was hugely improved and has only got better. I can now air dry my hair and don’t need to use any heat on it, improving it further. I though the shampoo and conditioner might be a bit of a waste but they’ve honestly made a massive difference.I’m now nearing the ends of the bottles (a little goes such a long way, I wash my hair every 2-3 days and the bottles have all lasted over 7 months) and thought it might be good to find a cheaper alternative. This OGX range seemed a great replacement for Olaplex 4 -6 but I couldn’t find any direct comparisons so ended up buying to try.To buy all 3 products from the OGX range was under £15-£20, less than the cost of one Olaplex product- so far so good! The OGX bottles are also larger. On first use the difference is quite obvious. The scent is different, Olaplex has a scent I can’t place but is almost a little sherbet like? Very mild though and a clean scent. OGX was more peachy I think? Definitely the same sort of vibe but it reminded me of weak peach squash. The lather is totally different with the shampoo. I’ll directly compare below:SHAMPOO COMPARISON- Olaplex 4 shampoo I need about a 20p size dollop for huge amounts of super soft lather. Once rinsed out my hair feels completely clean and light without residue, also a little conditioned.- OGX plex shampoo I needed 2/3 20p blobs, the constancy isn’t as rich. It didn’t really lather at all and was harder to work with. My hair didn’t feel great after. Not quite as bad as a standard drugstore shampoo but nothing like Olaplex 4.CONDITIONER COMPARISON- Olaplex 5 conditioner. With this product I take a 20p size blob and gently massage into the mids and ends of my hair. Then I use a tangle teezer to gently brush it through, catching what comes out in the palm of my other hand and running back through. My hair instantly feels like silk, it’s incredible! I leave it in for a few minutes usually but it’s still great even if I don’t. Amazing stuff.- OGX Plex 2 conditioner. This was nowhere near as thick or rich as the Olaplex version. Again I needed 2/3 times as much. As my hair wasn’t very soft after the shampoo the massaging it in the ends/brushing through didn’t work as well. I left it in for the 3-5 minutes as instructed and rinsed out. My hair didn’t feel great at this point. It just isn’t rich enough. Perhaps good for oily hair?LEAVE IN/STYLING CREAM COMPARISON- Olaplex 5. I usually take a small blob of this, 1 or 2 pea sized amounts. I massage it through mids and ends and gently brush through with the tangle teezer. It makes my hair air dry in half the time and prevents frizz and fly away really well. You can tell how well as I don’t put it in my roots and there’s always loads of flyaways there! Doesn’t weigh down hair, amazing product. Slightly stronger scent than the shampoo and conditioner but lovely.- OGX Plex 3 leave in. Less rich again, didn’t feel amazing. My hair took ages to air dry after, longer than without any product. My hair feels heavier and more coated than with Olaplex. It looks OK, better than with most standard drugstore products but worlds away from after Olaplex. I also think it may get greasier quicker so I will probably have to wash more often. The smell of this one was also a bit stronger, still pleasant.FINAL THOUGHTSFor me the OGX Plex range is not anything like the comparable Olaplex products in terms of product or results. However, there is a huge price difference (even taking into account the need to use more of OGX). If you have never used Olaplex or it’s no longer in your budget this range is absolutely worth a try. I think it’s probably better than many other drugstore options for shampoo/conditioner/leave in. If you use Olaplex and are looking for a cheaper alternative this isn’t it.For me and my hair the difference in results with Olaplex is worth the cost considering how long it lasts. I still have about 6 weeks worth of Olaplex 3-7 left and then will repurchase as it will have lasted me well over 8 months at that point.

ONLY USED TWICE & WOW
I ordered this product because my hair is in dreadful condition from bleaching it. It broken so much that the hair on back of my head hair only 2 inches long now, so I have been desperately trying to find products to save my hair. Usually after a shower I slather my hair in oil/masks just so it feel slightly healthy and i can brush it without breaking it anymore. However after using this shampoo with my usual purple conditioner my hair felt so silky and healthy I didn't even need oil to brush it through (I of course still put a little bit of oil in after because my hair needs it) but i am blown away by how much healthier my hair feels after just two uses!! Even once I have let my hair dry it feels stronger, softer and it smells lovely. I'm so impressed!!! (I have shampooed my hair twice both times I washed it)

Strong not limp
Already had the bonding plex conditioner bought on a whim. After doing well with it I've decided to switch to this shampoo too.I have coarse wavy bleached hair which is thinning through stress. My scalp has become irritated from moisturising shampoos and after my first use it is clarified. My hair is lively and clean.TLDR better than moisture surge products for damaged/limp insubordinate hair.

Definitely works
I have used this with the biotin ogx shampoo and the keratin ogx conditioner. This is an excellent product and my hair feels so much smoother and the ends do not look as split or frazzled, will be repurchasing when finished. The scent is also lovely and lasts all day.
