💡 Illuminate smarter, not harder — the future of LED lighting is here!
This 2-pack of 50W LED COB chips features an integrated Smart IC driver that directly connects to 110V AC power, eliminating the need for external drivers. Delivering 4000 lumens of bright white light at 6000-6500K, these chips auto-regulate temperature for enhanced durability and require a heatsink for optimal cooling. Designed for versatile indoor and outdoor applications, they offer a compact, waterproof-ready solution ideal for floodlights, ceiling mounts, and landscape lighting projects.

Excellent construction, super bright
Replaced some blown LED modules in two of the flood lights at work. Super bright, fully sealed, comes mounted on an aluminum backing plate, and was a direct fit. Some notes: 1. Use thermal paste or epoxy to ensure it cools properly. 2. You do not need to solder leads on to the unit to connect it to power (see next line). 3. It draws less that 1/2 amp, so you can use solid core 18 gauge wire to connect this up to power. the wire easily slips right into the connector on the board (the "L" and "N", for load and neutral). 4. It is not fully sealed and is probably not water resistant.

Like looking at the sun
Great LED with built in transformer, super bright at 50W. Fix your burnt out floodlights with a simple soldering job, no need for external driver is great. Apply plenty of high quality heat sink grease fot maximum life.

Exactly as advertised
50 W from an LED is a lot more than 50W from and incandescent.

Very bright
These are very convenient not needing a seperate driver. They do need a big heat sink. I add a 12 volt cooling fan at 9 volts to be quiet behind a 2 " x 2" finned heat sink. I add an aspheric lens at the chip and a freznel lens at it's focal length to make spot lights with very sharp edges on the pattern. Do use a grounded plug and wire with ground connection to the heat sink. The jacks for the 110 volts is a problem. Just pry the top off the jack and solder to the contacts. You will have to drill and tap the heatsink to attach the chip. I have not tried thin metal reflector / heatsinks.

Bright but not 50 watts
These are bright for sure, but they are not 50 watts. But considering the price they are a decent deal. The connection for the AC input is a little weak for my taste. They are supposed to clamp the wires in place but the wires can slip out on their own... and if there’s any shaking or vibration they will definitely come out, and they are 110 AC.. so that would be very bad. I’m sure I’ll figure out a way to secure them better. The clamp issue may not be in every LED but still it’s a significant issue. They don’t seem to get as hot as my other (verified) 50W LEDs but a heat sink should be used.

Don't do it
Cheap, fails too quickly, connections questionable.

Great product
Great product easy to use.

Well priced, but a little disappointed of the output. It still works as advertised.
Comparable fit to a existing outdoor lamp that had a failure on the driver assembly itself. Although the output says 50w equivalent, it is not as bright as the light assembly it replaced. The output is still well worth the price, as it is still working, the original failed after 6 months. I would buy again at same price level.
