Product failed after 2 years in a closed system. Unsure what caused the failure, came home to a system that would not stop pumping. Hundreds of gallons of water flooding the driveway and turning yard into a bog. Did not provide me with a long term solution to a water storage system. Luckily the well recharge is sufficient to keep up with the amount of water being pumped out.

Zero stars. We put this float product into our 1750 gallon water tank and had an electrician come out and hook up the wiring. That same day we smelled what smelled like burning wire and had someone come back out the next day. The wire that came with this product was burned up. The wire even burned the paper off of our insulation inside the pump house. Do not buy this product. It is very dangerous! Thank goodness it didn’t burn down our pump house and the trees, land and house nearby.

The floats function well. I purchased two floats. One has failed. I plan on ordering the same float for replacement.

The OD of cable was small 0.305" . The instructions stated the wires were blue and brown and they were red and brown. Though it looked to be brown and light brown. The outside shieth was like goo and a knife would sink into it and cut the wires inside. It took many tried to cut the shieth with out cutting the wires inside. I hope it holds up I don't want to go back into my septic tank again.

To be allowed to use both ways, fill tanks or protecting booster pumps.
