Great HUB for V1 and V2 switches, however does NOT work with OLED models.
I bought this for my V1 switch and it works great. The V1 and V2 use the same size dock, so this should work on both. If you are buying it for that, it works great and is an easy 5/5 stars. However, after upgrading to an OLED model, I'm writing this review to let everyone know that the OLED switch dock is too big to fit in this hub. Great USB hub for regular docks and will fit them all great, but again, this is ONLY for V1 and V2 Nintendo Switches. It will NOT fit an OLED dock. You can still use the USB hub aspect of it but you will not be able to fit the dock on top of it, the OLED dock is slightly too big.

Works great when you want to use a bunch of wired controllers
We bought this add-on for the dock so we could have 4 wired controllers hooked up to the switch. We wanted to use the cheaper knock-off wired controllers because they are more affordable and reliable than the switchโs (ever-drifting) joycons especially since we have our two kids (age 7 and 8) playing with us. Worked great for playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 together. You will have to have a switch dock already to use this properly. Ours fit on to the dock itself just fine, it wasnโt super tight like some other reviews said. Itโs a great deal and does what it says it will do.

BUY IT!
This worked fantastic for my kids to play together on the big screen t.v. the attached controllers where sticking so I bought old school ones that needed to be plugged in through this. It was compact and a 2onderful addition to our game systems.

Died after 2 months
Worked great for the first two months and then it just stopped working out of nowhere. I've never used more than 3 controllers plugged in (twice) and almost always just 1-2 controllers. It seems to be the small built-in USB cord that goes from the unit to the Switch that died because the controllers are still receiving power when plugged in, but no signal is being sent to the Switch. I'm out of the 30 day return period and now just have this as a lousy paperweight, basically. Such a waste.

Awesome device! Makes the switch console stand much more sturdy and useful :)
It really does fit snugly under the nintendo switch console, a nice seasy base. They did say that it would stabilize the console and it definitely did!!! Now I have 4 convenient usb slots to use! 2 for charging my wireless controllers, 1 to charge all of my 4 joy cons at once, lastly because I dont hae a dedicated use for the fourth usb port as of yet. Im thinking I could use it to charge my phone or my bise headphones if I felt like it....the one thing i did read in the directions is yes, plug the usb cord from the charging hub you just bought into one of the usb ports on the switch console, but also plug in a mini usb cable as an extra power source in thr back so that all 4 portd work at maximum capacity. It also says to unplug the external power source (the mini usb power source that plugs in the back), when not in use. So dont forget!

Great for Accessories!
I bought this with two other things and out of the 3 things in total this is the best of the 3. Now, it's essentially just a dock for your dock which isn't hard to make correctly but it also comes with 3 extra USB ports for the price of having to take up 1 USB port on your actual dock. That's fantastic. It's a little snug when you first put it around your Nintendo Switch Dock, but that's not really an issue. If anything that just means it ain't going anywhere afterwards. It's specifically great if you have a lot of attachments or accessories for the switch like the Gamecube adapter or a USB powered charging station for your extra joycons. P.S. I ranked "For Traveling" with 1 star due to the fact that I don't think I'll be traveling with this quite frankly.

Well... it was cheap at least.
Look, it worked for a while. It took about a month or so, but the tight fit did eventually pull the UBS guts out of the first port that was starting to die already. The 2nd port has also died, but the last two still work. Other issue that only kind of sucks now that it has started to break down is that USB cord that is attached doesn't go where it "should". If they made the cord just 1 to 2 inches longer is could have reached inside the dock proper and be covered up with the flap that hides the HDMI and power cord. Why didn't they do that? Now the cord just hangs out the front looking weird-ish when it could look a lot sleeker. This also gives the cord a chance to snag on other things. They should have just made the cord a smidge longer. It's a HUB for the Nintendo Switch and it work for a time. While $20 ain't so bad (even if ain't ain't a word) and if you're in a pinch, but I would shy away from this one personally. The convenience of having it under your switch is already (mostly) ruined by the silly cord placement, the fact that it broke down so quickly is another. Look elsewhere or up your prayer game for your electronics.
