This is another very good Tajima caulking gun with the caveat that this model is made in China and all the other excellent Tajima caulking guns we own were made in Japan. There is a noticeable difference between the two in terms of precision, overall quality and performance, but this still remains one of the best caulking guns on the market.

This gun is miles better then my old orange or my Ryobi battery one. Super easy to keep just the right pressure to get a great looking bead on my new baseboard install

Originally purchased gun in 2015 for $23. It has now been in service for five years. I am a professional and it is driving construction adhesive, silicone or various caulks on almost every job. It is the gun I use. I have done some maintenance and do keep it fairly clean. However, I love its smooth action and cast aluminum grip. It is a nice machine and I am happy to have purchased it. Every other gun I've ever had felt like a cheap toy by comparison. Is it worth current price? Only if you appreciate quality tools. Is it the best of all possible guns? Hell if I know. Original Review: The Tajima is supposed to "auto" stop the flow of caulk or adhesives. At best, it still requires to release the thumb bar to release some pressure on tube. Maybe expecting no material to flow after trigger release is unrealistic to nature of any caulking tool. On the plus side, I really like the design and feel of the handle and trigger which is cast aluminum. A great feel and a great look. I have been using this gun in the field regularly for several years. Recently, had to add extra springs into mechanism to get it to properly advance the plunger when caulk or adhesive was down to last quarter of tube. Otherwise plunger would slip instead of grip as I squeezed the trigger handle. So, happy I could fix, not impressed that expensive gun would fail in that manner.

Excellent caulking tool. Everything is smooth and the leak stop works surprisingly well. The fit and finish of everything on this is excellent. Used weekly in a light duty professional setting and it’s stood up fine to being tossed around and dropped off a ladder or two.

This one is very comfortable and easy to use. it is very good at preventing spills but can still happen but flow control is perfect.

Regret the years wasted with a cheap one from Home depot. The caulk does not come flowing out when the trigger is no longer pressed. Awesome product and should’ve gotten this to begin with

I've Been after this for some time. Finally bit the bullet and got it. It's so much better than the cheep ones I've had before.

Hatte schon einige Kartuschenpressen in der hand. Nachdem mir meine letzte von wolfkraft um die ohren flog (überall plastik) sollte mal was anständiges her. Was soll ich sagen, das teil macht einen sehr robusten und soliden eindruck. Alles läuft sehr glatt und ruhig, nichts verkantet, sie liegt wunderbar in der hand, wiegt ein wenig mehr, was ich persönlich sehr schön finde und der Stempel zieht sich immer wieder ein stück zurück, was das nachlaufen minimieren dürfte. Bislang habe ich sie noch nicht benutzt aber ich denke, ich werde nicht enttäuscht. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Die leichten Kratzer wie auf dem bild zu erkennen aber ganz im ernst: so schön sieht die nur nach dem auspacken aus, das ist ein werkzeug und wird benutzt. Halten und funktionieren muss es. Ergänzung: es lässt sich hervorragend damit arbeiten, mit wenig Kraft kann man ordentlich strecke machen und auch sehr gleichmäßig.
