These boards are not the item pictured and are not real slate. They are some sort of composite material with rounded edges instead of natural slate edges. They are going back.

The trays are not the dimensions as advertised. They advertise 8" by 6.5" slate trays and then specifically state in the Q&A section that the trays are exactly 8" by 6.5".The trays are advertised in the photos as having rough edges (which I love). The trays are actually perfectly rounded at the corners and super smooth without a single edge tapered.Very disappointed. I really needed 5 trays at 8" long to equal exactly 40" long.I'm giving 2 stars because they were packaged well.

Love these, so elegant to serve on. They clean up easy, too. They have pads on the four corners so they are easy to pick up and don't slide or scratch. They are great!!

The pictures stated chalk was included. There was no chalk included. Don’t be mislead like I was. I purchased this on the basis that it came with chalk so I didn’t have to make an additional purchase. Wouldn’t recommend.
