D-Day Air Assault 1:72 WWII Military Diorama Plastic Model Gift Set A50157A, Multi

We just barely received the D day model kit for my son and everything looks fine except the paint is bone dry. They’re probably was only about three paint That wasn’t out of the 12. Not sure we add water to it, but it does suck that we have to figure out how to use those paints. My son contacted the makers and they were the best customer service and is sending paint to replace those dry paint. So five stars now for sure!

Got this for out daughter for Christmas, she started to work on it but the paints all where dry and hard. She was very disappointed. Trying to find the same paint colors so she can finish and can't find them anywhere.

This set has everything you need to display a WWII diorama. I don’t understand the complaints. The fitting might not be perfect in some parts but there’s nothing that a knife and sand paper can’t fix. Some people are just too lazy to even try. You get a lot for your money: two tanks (Tiger and Sherman), a detailed battle damaged command center, plenty of accessories, paint, brushes, two armies (British and German) and a nice base to put it all together. What else can you ask for?

Upon opening the package, it was found that the paint was dried out and unusable. We will be assembling without painting.

This kit is nice for a beginner or a kid doing something for school, but not a quality set. The building and set pieces are great, but the soldiers are very rubbery and hard to clean even with a knife because it is too soft. The kit looks good together, but took a ton of work to get the soldiers to look good. If they used the same plastic as with the building and tanks, I would have given it 4 or 5 stars. But the price was good, so I'm not too upset

La caja ha llegado rota, las pinturas la mayoría secas y algunas parecían usadas, de hecho estaban sueltas dentro de la caja y la bolsa en la que debían venir estaba rota, también un pincel ha desaparecido. El resto está completo y en buen estado. Siempre es decepcionante cuando se recibe un producto que se ha comprado como nuevo en un estado que no es el que se anuncia. El kit es de de la calidad que uno espera de Airfix, el diorama es muy bonito y se le puede sacar bastante jugo en cualquier wargame. En general recomendado

After spending just over a month assembling and painting the models in this kit I am happy to say it’s an excerpt gift for someone new to the hobby but also has an interest in terrain building. The paints in the set are unfortunately not enough if you want a realistic looking paint and texture on diorama but for a beginner like me it was fairly priced and has a good selection of units. Unfortunately the soldiers supplied in the box are made using a different material than the models and although it does state to clean them with detergent and warm water I still had a hard time getting paint to stick to the models. But with perseverance and a gentle hand it is possible to get realistic results with them. I would definitely recommend this as a gift to someone young starting out or even not so new like myself.
