Does this actually remove fluride?

No! Perhaps up to 20% max. But you can`t find this information anywhere because they just say fluoride. If you buy an extra part (which is not mentioned too) for another Â£20 you can bring it up to 80% maybe (they informed me by email).When I asked them about which method I should use to test the fluoride in the water (so i could get the same results as them because paper stripes sometimes are not accurate) that was their response:"As for testing the fluoride.  I am not aware of a home test at this time. Perhaps if you were to google online in your area, there may be some place to take your water to be tested.My suggestion might be a city/county service that might do it. Has anyone tested the ph level after using the filter?

My water digitally tested from the tap has a ph of 6.3 and a tds of 235

After using the ph001 filter i get a ph of 8.3 with tds of 365.

After using the ph001 filter with the uf ph002 addon extention filter i get a ph of 9.3 with tds of 240

Dont worry about tds as the filter adds minerals and removes harmfull minerals, high tds does not mean bad on its own, high tds with low ph is bad high tds with high ph is not that bad at all.

Whats the difference between the ph restore and ph refresh? (aside from the size)

I bought this as the water in this area is quite hard and I needed a more alkaline water. Sorry, but I am not sure about a difference between ph restore and ph refresh - perhaps the provider has an answer.

Does it filter out plastic particles from plastic bottled water?

Our pH001 filter included with our RESTORE jug has polypropylene solid filtration layers inside that capture solids of  0.5 microns in molecular size and larger, effectively removing these particles from your water.

Most microplastics are about 2.5 micrometers according to some studies (ORB, 2017) and others cite some as small as 1.0 microns. In either case, our solids filtration layers will cover particles of both these sizes.
