great quality banneton with cover and a VERY sturdy bench scraper and great lame....I can't believe the price/quality ratio - great buy.

I have different types of bannetons cause I like making different shapes this one is a decent shape as you can see in the image it's a decent shape and size but before I stared using this basket it did have some wood chips that i needed to clean out though, and the wood texture feels different then normal but it still works and does the job for me and looks great and the lines on the top are used from the scraper that it came with now for those they get rusty even if there is a little water on it so i always make sure to dry it right away after i was it so that's a decent sharpness to make my lines... as for cleaning it is a drop hard to clean cause the flour will get stuck btw the wood.

This was a gift for my son who is a great bread baker. I rated at four instead of five because I have no personally used it. However, he has and his bread turned out beautifully.

This was exactly what it was advertised as being. Well made as well.

The dough scraper wasn’t included. The basket is fine, but the linen is difficult to clean the flour out of and the lame drags on the dough and rusted after one use.

Not necessary for making bread but it definitely improved the look of my loafs, I would buy again. The blade can just be tossed however as i found it clinging to the dough unless oiled which doesn't create as nice of an ear when done.

Smaller than I expected/needed. Well constructed at any rate. Cleaning is a challenge.

This is just the right size for a loaf of my Artisan bread. The lame that comes with it is great because you can change the blade and it comes with extra blades. I feel this was exactly what I was hoping for and I look forward to many loaves of bread with the neat lines from the banneton.

Since I started baking my own bread for a year now, I decided that since I make sourdough bread most of the time that I would invest in a bamboo proofing basket. I ordered this one after reading many reviews of proofing baskets. It is very well made and nice and smooth. Some other baskets were said to be rough inside but this one is as smooth as silk. Also there is a bonus lame and bowl scraper. You simply cannot go wrong with purchasing one. I would recommend this one to family and friends.

The banneton itself works as it should - no complaints. The bread razor and dough scraper are made of cheap plastic. The dough scraper itself came with the tip bent out of shape in an odd way but it works. The lame has a very cheap plastic feel - like it's going to crack on you at any given moment. That being said, I've used it and it works well enough.

Always wonder how professional bakers get such perfect round loaves until I saw an article about using proofing basket. Such a basic and simple basket but my bread came out like store bought loaves. The size is perfect for me and 3 young kids, no left overs.
