Master Plumber Deluxe Plunger W/Holder

So what can you say about a plunger? The toilet clogs..... this thing goes in and fixes it like a darn champ. It looks nice and the container that holds it is a nice feature. Don't have to touch anything and it hides it away so people who come into your bathroom don't see a big old plunger next to them. I like it and it seems very durable. Would recommend it for sure!

Best plunger I've owned. I now have one in every bathroom. The included base holder conveniently opens/closes as you remove and replace the plunger so you don't have to mess with the part that has been submerged in whatever nastiness you had to solve. Watch a YouTube video or two to make sure you've got the motion right, since it's the push AND the pull back that most effectively dislodge material in the toilet.

These are well made and fit nicely in the holder. The design allows for the suction to be directly aimed to the toilet's drain. Cleaning the bowl following unplugging, with the addition of some detergent or bleach added to the water, rinsing the plunger in the bowl eliminates any worries of residual smell. The plunger dries nicely in its holder. The holder sits unobtrusively near the bowl.

PROS: it does its job, and appears not to have actually been used before. CONS: the one I received was dusty, old, yellowed, and scuffed. This is my second purchase of this plunger. It does its job (why I bought it again), but I received one that looks like it had been sitting on the back of a warehouse shelf for some time. The plastic cover and rubber plunger cup both had significant scuffs, the packaging was faded and dusty, and the plunger handle itself has noticeable discoloration on the portion of the handle that was covered by the base cover.

It is nondescript as a plunger, which is what is wanted, hiding in plain sight. The neck folds up inside, but that is what it is supposed to do. Really don't understand the complaints about this unless you are expecting something dainty and pretty to dislodge the turd stuck in the toilet. Yep, may have to touch the business end to get the neck out - no different from any other plunger that is effective. It tucks away nicely into its clamshell. Does what it is supposed to do.

We just replaced our old plunger..which was this exact plunger and holder. It lasted too long. You know what you are doing with a plunger. Yea..its gross. After a while you should replace it. They begin to stink and stain the holder. Ours lasted 6 years..until one day the dog was in the bathroom and got spooked by the cat and slammed into the plunger and holder and slightly cracked the holder plastic pin. That God.....because we now have new plunger that look and smells even better.

The shape of the rubber diaphragm doesn't extend far enough to make a complete seal. Also, the design of the handle is pretty ineffective as it doesn't allow you to get a good grip for pushing without you putting the end of the handle into your palm, which is painful. The smooth plastic handle also makes it hard to get a firm grip on when plunging. This plunger looks nice and doesn't draw any attention to itself when not in use, which is nice, but when it comes time to stopping a clogged toilet from running over and onto the floor, I'd prefer a more effective plunger.

Excellent quality. Holder thing opens and closes in a touchless fashion. Plunger creates a good tights seal around the porcelain. Very happy. Bought four - one for each bathroom. No more walking around the house with a plunger.
