This product appears to have removed my 8 year old extremely stubborn verucca! I've had a verucca as a adult for at least 8 years, if not more. I didn't do anything about it for years as I thought was a corn or just dry skin until I noticed it had spread! I ended up with 3 veruccas with no signs of disappearing so decided i really needed to tackle them! For the last 12 weeks I applied bazuka daily plus used 7 x at home verruca freeze treatments (scholl and wartner) as well as the bazuka gel for a double attack. In addition I used a surgical scalpel after each time I removed the gel to try and keep removing as much as I could so the gel got right into the verucca. I was just desperate to remove them so I was quite brutal and was watching podiatry videos on youtube! Despite the bazuka, the at home freeze method and the scalpel my veruccas were still going strong after 12 weeks of daily treatment (I only missed a couple of days). I switched to this scholl pen after reading good reviews. After my first 4 day application and 4 day break the skin didn't really seem to lift much by itself so I ended up using my scalpel and trying to work it out as much as I could. The veruccas were quite clearly not fully removed but seemed to have reduced in size. I applied the gel over a second 4 day (twice a day) period. This time the gel hurt like never before. This gel was honestly so painful, nothing like bazuka or the freeze treatments so I'd think twice about applying on a small child. However I was so determined to get rid of the verucca so I persevered (after a few nights struggling to sleep - honestly!). Long and behold in my break period the skin finally seemed to be lifting on its own. I didn't want to rush the treatment as I felt something was working and didn't want to just cut the top off so I left it longer than the recommended 4 day break. I kept soaking my feet and trying to prise the lifted skin away with a nail cuticle tool. After about 10 days they all came out as quite big pieces with just a little help from myself. 2 are definitely remaining so I'm on my 3rd treatment but the original large verucca has gone! It's quite obviously gone because it left a little hole in my foot and you can see all fresh skin with all my skin striations again. This is the first time I've seen this part of my foot in years. I'm so relieved and the pain was worth it! I put a bit of bazuka over the fresh skin just for good measure to try and kill any remaining virus just in case (I wouldn't put the schol over as it's clearly powerful stuff and wouldn't be good for fresh skin). Now to remove the next 2 veruccas. Fingers crossed they'll come out like the other one did on my 3rd treatment with the scholl verucca pen.

I had tried lots of different treatments in the past to get rid of two verrucas on my feet and nothing seemed to work. I even tried having them frozen which was very painful and still didn’t get rid of them. I thought I would give this Dr. Scholl’s pen a try but honestly I wasnt expecting much after trying so many other things. I was very surprised when after just one application both verrucas started to disappear. I couldnt believe it had worked so quickly. The pen is very easy to use and the precision tip makes it easy to apply just where you need it. No freezing, no horrible pain and no messing about. I would definitely recommend giving this a try if you have tried other treatments and had no luck. For me it worked after the first application and getting rid of both verrucas was a massive relief.

I started using this around 3 weeks ago now to treat a very stubborn wart on my thumb. I've had it for probably over 10 years and NOTHING has worked! I've tried salicylic acid under numerous brand names (bazuka, extra strength, sub zero) and even tried having it frozen off (would not recommend, it's so painful). It's never really bothered me but it is unsightly. I think it was worse because over time it has callused over and the actual wart is very deep in my thumb pad. Unfortunately, because of this I didn't think it was working and had an extremely slow start. The pen also didn't always dispense enough acid and I found myself having to reapply. Now 3 weeks later after 3 full treatment courses and rests I am seeing some progress! It has already started to darken and peel after the second week, and by this point tonight I had filed down the rough skin that had formed and the centre of the wart has mostly peeled away! I'm going to continue to use it until it has fully gone, which in my case might be another month or two yet. I would recommend you give it a try. And be patient with it! It does take a while to dry so set aside 15 minutes to get the best effect. Side note: I won't lie and say it is painless. After I apply it, the first few minutes I can feel quite an intense stinging and burning sensation, then gradually it would ease off as it dries. Although I am treating a sensitive area on my hands. It is a very strong corrosive acid so be weary not to get it onto healthy skin wherever possible! Update no2: for the first time in over 10 years I no longer have a visible wart on my thumb! I've left it for a couple weeks and it doesn't seem to have come back. I am a little cautious about continuing to treat the skin above it as it is healthy but it's pretty much gone 😁 highly recommend if you have stubborn warts that you have tried everything on!

I had a stubborn wart on my palm. I tried a treatment previously (starts with a B) this had no success in eradicating the problem. But this Dr Scholl was the real deal. Used as instructed by the manufacturer. The little wart was gone. A bit of a scar there, but healing well. I would buy again.

OK for over the counter, but not strong enough to permanently resolve the issue. Had to go to Drs anyway and get stronger treatment so was this really worthwhile - wont bother with it again

My 5 year old has had a wart on her finger since she was a tiny baby. Doctors always said it would go away in its own time but it just kept getting bigger and she hated it. We previously tried other gels and creams which did nothing, and a freeze pen which was very painful and didn't get past one use as she was hysterical. We decided to try a dot of this for 3 days with a plaster on top while she slept. A week later, the wart dropped off! Gone! Amazing!

Great stuff. This is the second time my 8 year old has ended up with a verruca, first time round I used bazuka which was such a pain and he hated it, I had to wait till he was asleep until I went in with a torch to file it down and put more gel on so I knew this time I had to find something else, leading to this purchase. You just press the button to push a drop of gel out onto the verruca (tiny amount) let it dry so son just stuck his leg out the bed a couple of mins and honestly the verruca just seemed to disappear in about 1 week!

Genuinely so impressed with this product. So easy to use, and worked fast. I have a stubborn verruca between my big and second toe on the sole of my foot and it’s painful to walk on. I’ve tried other products- patches, the white tipex-like substances, nothing touches them. Within one application, this pen made my skin dry up and flake off. The skin on and around my verruca is now completely dry and flaky and easy to peel off- with constancy, the offending thing is nearly gone! I will knock off one star for ease of use- you have to click the pen sooo many times before and liquid comes out, which is noisy and a bit annoying, and then when the liquid finally does come it comes super quickly so I’ve often dripped all over my foot (which you don’t want to get this stuff on healthy skin!) so a bit fiddly but then again, I do have clumsy tendencies. The result speaks for itself. Great value for money and with quite a lot of product per pen, I could get a few more verrucas with this I think (but hoping I won’t have to!!) give it a try!
