Shopping for LED drivers is hard - you’ve typically got a lot of application specific intricacies that dictate your choices (indoor or outdoor? Wet or dry? 12v or 24v? Pre or post transformer dimming? The list goes on!) and in my case, I was looking for a 12v driver that could comfortably push 40w or so at max brightness. My hard requirements were no flickering (and that means no flickering visible through your phone camera too), two wire input because I’m using Lutron Caseta plug in lamp dimmers that lack a ground port - so that largely eliminates metal housing options that typically require a ground and good thermal dissipation, which can be harder with plastic. Thankfully, this checks all those boxes and then some! Yes, it’s more expensive than other triac dimmable 12v drivers on Amazon and it looks huge in the pictures but the cost is more than justified as the cheaper models don’t perform up to snuff and while it is fairly long, it’s so skinny that the whole thing appears to have a smaller footprint than expected. Dimming works perfectly and goes extremely low, no flicker whatsoever and it stays relatively cool compared to the one it’s replacing so I’m a happy camper!

I used this in my kitchen redo. I put it between a dimmer wall switch and the under cabinet LED lights. It dims and work great. I will use it again.

Super easy install. Very smooth and quiet dimming with Lutron diva led dimmer. Very pleased!

We had just finished remodeling our first floor with all new cabinets. The contractor used very cheap transformers with under counter and toe kick lights, and they would flicker when dimmed to 50% or below. I replaced all their transformers with these, and not only do the lights have smooth flicker-less dimming all the way down to 0, the LEDs are even brighter than before. If you can access your transformer and are comfortable with some minor rewiring, these are a must have!

Lasted a day then burned out..

Functionality of product is great. Have it paired with high output Hitlights led strip lights for under cabinet kitchen lighting. Device is mounted under cabinet and at max power does get a little warm but not so hot it warms the lower shelf inside the cabinet the way the halogen bulb fixture would. There is no humming and the LEDs dim great with a Lutron Maestro CL dimmer - no flicker what so ever at any setting and can be dimmed to point there is almost no light. Only negative is there are only two mounting notches that don’t allow for a very large fastener and the plastic around them is not very robust. Didn’t cause me issues but did make me be more aware during the install for fear of snapping one of the mounting tabs.

Works great. Connection was easy.

Used to drive my under-cabinet lights. Install is straight forward, however the terminals are a little small, so fitting a 12 awg cable will be tricky but not impossible. Stable power, no noise at all, but it runs a little hot even with half the rated load. So far no issues though, longest I had it turned on is 8+ hours.
