GROHE Sense Guard Smart Home Water Controller, Detects Water Leaks and Pipe Bursts, Shuts Water Off, Wi-Fi Connected, 22513LN0

It does not do what the instructions say and won’t connect to our BT hub, iPhone or iPad. I have done the basic checks but for £600 this should work out of the box. I should not need to be an IT engineer to get it to work. Raised a support ticket so will see what they say. This was mandated by my insurer and I had hope that buying GROHE would be a good result. As we turn water off at mains it seems it will be a box tick thing. V disappointed.

This was a disappointing waste of money and I'm quite embarrassed that I bought this. We had a plumber professionally install it, and while it does work, the app is awful. Doesn't alert you in time, plus it logs you out and you don't realise this for weeks. Without an app it's a pointless piece of kit. If Grohe worked on their app, it would be a really good item.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Hands down the worst product I think I have ever had. I was asked to install one by my landlord and it has only caused problems for me. Including shutting off my water completely and I have been unable to speak to a real human being at Grohe to get it fixed. If I hadn’t have figured out my own solution to the problem then they would have let this product shut off my water and not helped get it back on for 3 days and counting. Save yourself the hassle and do not get this.

we had TWO separate leaks in our plumbing system on different occasions and it didn't detect either of them. After a year the unit itself started to leak (not the fittings, something inside the actual box) and caused a load of damage in the kitchen cabinets. Awful, do not buy one

I'm so impressed with the quality of work on this item- it's excellent and very informative. I had some accidents, and this System prevented huge water damage. The app works very well. It is a simple and user-friendly application with an intuitive interface, a convenient onboard log, and a history of temperature, humidity, and pressure in the system for 4 weeks. I recommend it for use and will repurchase it for other projects. 10/10

Ich kann die teilweise negativen Bewertungen in keinster Weise nachvollziehen. Nach Einbau hat alles Reibungslos geklappt. Die Einrichtung des Gerätes sowie zwei einzelne Sensoren verlief relativ flott. Bei dem kleinsten Wasserspritzer sprechen die Sensoren sofort an und das Hauptgerät sperrt die Hauptwasserleitung ab.
