Review: What a difference a good cutting mat makes - What a difference a good cutting mat makes!! My old one was so "nicked" it fairly "chewed" the fabric at some point. So nice to have a new SELF HEALING one. Looking forward to many projects using this...especially cutting squares for my future great grandson's quilt... due in Sept, Review: Size is perfect for my cutting table - Size is perfect for my cutting table. Love the "forgiving" mat for use with my rotatory cutters. The mat did have a few uneven pieces of plastic along the outer edge which interfered with placing my ruler edge...so I easily "sliced" these off with a straight-edge blade. The mat is slick; I must hold my work very firmly so that it does not slip while I am cutting.

This is the best mat to use for a rotary cutter. Last a long time because the cuts heal after use.

Like the mat very much. Rather expensive but I do appreciate the measurements and layout of the mat.
