I’m extremely impressed with this leather legal notepad holder. It exceeded my expectations the moment I opened the package. The leather is thick, rich, and has that genuine, high-quality feel you just don’t see often anymore. The stitching is clean and precise, giving it a very professional look. It holds a legal pad perfectly, with additional pockets that are actually functional, not just for show. It feels durable enough for everyday use while still looking sharp enough for meetings, client interactions, and travel. The quality of this padfolio is equal to or better than others costing three to four times the price. The leather is a lovely shade of dark brown, supple and soft and held together with an even and attractive lighter brown stitching. It is thick enough to stand up to years of use while getting better looking with age. The pad sleeve is an unexpected, but nicely contrasting shade of deep burgundy suede, with the maker's mark unobtrusively stamped underneath the bottom right of the pad. The sleeve side has the same finish as the outside, with two 45-degree corner cuts at the top and bottom to aid in getting things into and out of the sleeve. The card slots are not in the accustomed bottom edge of the sleeve side, but instead are centered on the sleeve with a "V" at the open end and 45-degree corners echoing the sleeve side. An elastic loop is provided on the inside, near the spine, to protect your writing instrument of choice. My only concern - and this is merely my personal taste - is that the color could be a bit lighter, to better match my other leather accessories (wallet, checkbook cover, etc.); however, I love it the way it is. For under $20 dollars, the workmanship, fit and finish are an outstanding value. If you enjoy fine leather goods, do not pass this padfolio by.

This product is legit. While a little pricier than a faux leather notepad, you get what you pay for in this rugged and real leather note carrier. The pouches for business cards keep the cards snug inside. It also lays very flat on surfaces while you jot down notes. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a sleek notebook to easily carry to meetings.

As others have said, the leather and workmanship are top-notch and make it worth the price. It is a little floppy, especially if you don’t put a name brand pad in it though…

ok...so I needed a simple padfolio to write & keep notes, thoughts, etc...etc... and I searched & searched...ALL of the big box stores, even searching through Amazon....I even purchased a 'fake leather' one at a big box (since returned it)....for an AFFORDABLE & yet QUALITY small padfolio.....everyone that I found either: 1: was overpriced 2: not good quality 3: had a zipper/overlap closure which just gets annoying after a while 4: not what I was looking for......I AM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS company & product on Amazon. It is 1) the perfect size 2) surprisingly affordable 3) fully leather 4) high quality....I don't mind bringing this to meetings & such...it's easy to carry & LOOKS FANTASTIC.....it looks like something that I spent at least $50.00 on. THANK_YOU for making this product.....it came wrapped in plastic wrap & the leather actually leaves a small stain on the paper pad which is AWESOME bc/ that shows it is REAL LEATHER!!!! purchase one today...you will NOT regret it

When you buy something like this, even with good reviews, you might be wary to purchase it. This notepad cover was described as being made of high quality leather and it is. In fact, it’s even nicer than described. I somehow lost my old, worn out notepad by leaving it behind when we went to the grocery store. We use this size notepad for our grocery list, and needed a replacement. The leather is soft, supple, and smells good. The stitching is straight and sturdy with no loose or stray threads. I’m almost glad we lost the old one and glad we didn’t buy a fake leather or cheap plastic one. I hope we never misplace this notepad, because it’s perfect!

Love this thing!! I’ve been journaling in a similar padfolio for years and years (I’m on my 12th refill) and the old one has reached an age of retirement. The old one was faux leather and started to peel at the spine. This one feels like it should honestly last the rest of my life! It’s simple, elegant and very well crafted.

I like it but I thought it was for an 81/2 x 11 pad, but it’s more like 4 x 6. The leather is very nice. AND it has that real leather smell. Nice gift.
