Not sure how you would review and rate bone meal. I am sure that it will be fine as its fish but was surprised at how small the 1# package. Used it on my irises and before I knew it I used it all.

Sprinkled next to my scraggly pepper, tomato, potato plants in desperate need to make them grow. I'm in the PNW and we've had pretty bipolar weather this year so it's been tough for a not so good backyard farmer like me. Its been 6 days and there is a noticeable difference, leaves are bigger, sooo many flowers. My tomato plant has leaves as big as my hand!

This stuff works great in my garden! Comes well packaged and is good quality. Get it every year for my tomatoes and peppers. Helps the plants root strong, avoid end rot and i always get an abundance of vegetables.

I buy more than I would like to admit from Amazon but I never leave reviews. That's how excited I am about this stuff! My grandma passed away a few years ago and we had to sell her house. It was built in 1908 and as soon as they finished the house they planted irises along the backside of the house. They were always so beautiful growing up and when we found out we were going to have to part with the house, I dug up a box full of iris bulbs in hopes that I could bring them back to life in a different spot for my grandma. I knew I was planning to move in about 8 months so I didn't plant the bulbs at the house I was at, instead I stored them in newspaper in the garage waiting for the move. I transplanted the bulbs two years ago and while the green leaves were beautiful, they wouldn't put on any buds. This year one week after I applied this my first buds appeared and in about 2 weeks I had full blooms! The stems and leaves are growing like crazy too and they look healthier than they did at the old house. This stuff brought 100+ year old iris bulbs back to life and I am so thankful and relieved. I've never been so stressed over the performance of a flower :-) Great to have grandma here with me and I will now be using it in my garden and worm bin too. Can't say enough good things!
