Trigger Finger no more.
I had trigger finger for a few years, and recently it started to "lock" and was very painful. I had already had my allowed amount of injections of cortisone shots, and next was going to be surgery. I did some research and read all the reviews, so I thought I would give this splint a try. I wore it at bed time for over a month and a half. I would only wear it though the night. In the morning, my finger would be stiff, but after a minute or so, it was fine. Well... my trigger finger went away. I had no more issues and no more locking. Later, I had went a week without wearing it and I started getting the clicking and snapping in my finger. I again started the splint at bed and now I am back to not having any symptoms of trigger finger. I will continue to wear this at night, as it has proven to rid the horrible snapping, clicking, and locking of trigger finger. I LOVE IT

Easy & comfortable to wear
Set once & done. Makes them easy to use so you keep using them. Effective, but comfortable to wear. Use them while I sleep. Gives me hours of use without interfering in anything I do.

It works, greatly adjustable, comfortable.
I have trigger finger from 30 years of using a mouse. This helps. It can be slightly bent if you need it to not be perfectly straight, it's reasonably comfortable and the metal piece is removable if you want to wash it. The velcro portions are plastic and have some sharpish edges that will catch on things if you're not careful, I just used a nail file for 20 seconds on them and they're fine now. Knocking off one star for the sharp edges on the plasticy bits.

Size is an issue
This is a very good product, very sturdy and dependable materials, however it's very small even for the 4th and fifth digits and I have very slim hands. I wear a size medium in nutritious gloves and it was to tight and that's without any swelling in my fingers. It caused cramps in my palm. I have a hard time believing it would fit an adult male or anyone with swelling or a size large glove or higher.

Reaches middle knuckle on normal size adult hand.
This was a perfect solution to stabilize what's sometimes called a "boxers knuckle." (This particular injury was a Subluxation of the tendon. I think "boxers knuckle" can include other injuries as well.) At any rate, his first (fist) knuckle needed to be stabilized. Based on the product photo we had intended to cut the brace "finger" back so it would only reach the middle knuckle. As it turns out, we didn't need to, because the brace was exactly the right length for what he needed. He has a normal sized adult hand. (Photo's attached) Also, he wears in on the inside of his hand, not the outside. The metal part of the brace is sturdy, but it CAN be bent to better form to the palm of your hand. That said, we're buying another one so he can have one that fits the position of his hand while using his computer mouse, and another one for whatever else he's doing. (The brace is bendable, but not so easily bendable that you'd want to keep changing it.) A very good solution to an unfortunate situation.

It will make your trigger finger worse.
This product isn't good by any means. I suffer from a trigger finger and this brace only managed to worsen my condition. I took it to the Dr. With me to make sure I was using it correctly which I was. But as my Doctor noted it is poorly designed. And the function it is supposed to provide is neglected. The velcro patch is way to small. The distance between the finger straps is to far, to the point that you would either have to be a giant to make use of it. And I'm not sure if it's all of them but the one I received was sown inside out. On a positive note the material was very nice and easy on the skin even after hours of use. It sounds like a small victory but comfort is key. After all you buy a product such as this to bring comfort to a painful situation. Although I was overall unsatisfied i won't return it because it is a medical brace and it be unsanitary and pointless to return it. I suggest getting a cheaper compression sleeve for your trigger finger. Save your money.

Great finger immobilizer
Excellent finger immobilizer. It does not extend too far into the palm to cause it to get more dirty or sweaty than necessary. I found it does get smelly after a week or so. I removed the metal stick from the slit in the wrap and hand washed it with dish soap, then air dried it. My finger is recovering now that I am reminded to stop using it and can't bend it. Good for sprains and strains. Worked will with swelling as it was adjustable. It did cause some funny/embarrassing side effects- when driving I hit the windshield wipers regularly which turned them on. It does draw attention to the injured finger and everyone will ask what happened. Prepare a good story in advance. I did not have one. Maybe next time... I do wish it came in a color other than blue. I dislike blue very much!!!

I had trigger finger three times and the steroid injections were horrendously painful. This time, with it in my little finger I tried one of these splints. I keep it on only as long through the day as I can and also at night. I give the skin a rest by removing if for a couple of hours at a time. Might be a good idea to get two as if it gets wet by mistake takes quite a while to dry. There are a few sharp corners on the plastic bits which hurt but I just clipped the corners off with nail clippers...then it was perfect. After two weeks, my finger is loads better, doesn't hardly ever pop, and if it does it goes back on its own with no pain! I have to say I didn't really hold out much hope but it looks like I won't be giving my doctor a chance to go at me with her needle of steroids into an inflamed tendon nodule with no freezing!! Great item for trigger finger...in my case anyway, which was quite bad.
