Playstation Move Bundle - a great starter bundle for the new platform
Initially, I was very skeptical about motion gaming. I had previously played the Wii and, while some titles were fun, I was overall unimpressed with the technology. It was a nice start, but there was room for lots of improvement. I had read numerous reviews about PS Move before deciding to try it, and I recommend you do as well to get positive and negative feedback, as this will allow you to mitigate your expectations and make a better decision. But, despite my skepticism, I have enjoyed the Move technology, as well as Sports Champions, tremendously. I am the typical "hardcore" gamer, swallowing up titles like God of War III, the Call of Duty series, Killzone 2, and so on, so entering a more casual experience could have been a disaster. I was very much surprised, however, by how much I have played and liked playing with PS Move. The technology is outstanding. The motion tracking is much more advanced, as you no doubt have heard, than the Wii's entry, and as a result you really can tweak your throw in Disc Golf to get the frisbee to curve just how you'd like it to. There are some differences from reality, as is to be expected, but in so far as the controller can mimic the way you would hold and throw the disc in real life, the software does tremendously. You can realistically flip the disc into the goal at near distances, and throwing the disc too high can make it come gliding backward, just as it would in real life. The same is true for all of the games included with the bundle. Bocce actually turned out to be one of my favorites, and my roommate and I play this one together more than any other game. I could go on and on about the rest of the games, but the message is clear: the physics and response of the game should not be what gets in your way of success. It's very, very good. If you suck, you just need to practice like you would in person. My only complaint is in archery. I have two controllers, and so with archery I'd like to make use of them both to add realism to the experience. Perhaps I have just been calibrating it poorly (in all the games, you can re-calibrate at any time by pressing the Start button and choosing calibrate), but my forehand wand seems to get in the way of my line of sight, sometimes blocking my reticle and obscuring my target. It hasn't been a big issue, but it's been something I've had to wrestle with. I have not had this issue with the single controller, which is what is included in the bundle. The bundle also includes a demo disc which includes demos you can download off of PSN. The only two I have tried were The Shoot and Tumble. The Shoot was okay. I only played it once. But Tumble is a title I can definitely imagine picking up down the line. It was very fun and the physics were very well done. In the future, though, I am mostly looking forward to titles like Killzone 3, since I want to see how aiming with the PS Move would translate into my favorite FPS games. The camera does what it does. It shouldn't cause issues, but I can't say much more than that since I haven't used it for video chat or anything. The included cable has been long enough for my purposes, but the annoying part about it is that the cable is kinked back and forth because it comes wrapped up, and this can cause the camera do want to twist or turn when first setting it up. A bit of a pain, but the cables will relax with time. I have found the "range" of the system to be very forgiving. You don't really need to abide by the whole "step back 8 feet" thing. I've played as close as 2 or 3 and, depending on the game, haven't had any issues. Your experience may be different than mine, but from my perspective it should work in most rooms just fine. Regarding calibration, it's super easy. Once you've done it a few times you can calibrate in 2 seconds. Really. 2 seconds. And you don't need to stand right in the center like the Move asks you to. You just need to stand within the camera range and do the calibration. Also, you only need to calibrate when you enter or exit a game. So you would calibrate after choosing Archery, but not after every Archery match. It's a total non-issue to me. However, if you move from your initial calibration spot too much, you may find yourself needing to re-calibrate in the game, but probably not even then. I've found the system to be quite robust to changes. So there you have it. The system works as advertised and I think you'll have lots of fun with the games - I have. I'm mostly looking forward to future titles to beef up the hardcore selection, but for now, I have been pretty satisfied by the PS Move Bundle. P.S. One more thing. When I bought this bundle, I used Free Super Saver shipping. It was shipped by FedEx SmartPost. What a lousy service, Amazon. It took longer (not much) than the maximum allotted shipping time (I think it was something like 11 or 12 days in total - ridiculous to go from Phoenix to Seattle.), which I have never seen from an Amazon shipper. Not to mention that they had a horrible tracking service so I didn't know where my package was except for maybe three days during the whole trip. If I had to go back, I would have paid to have it shipped a different way or requested that Amazon use USPS only or SOMETHING.

I'm addicted & my arm hurts.
I have had the move for two weeks now, and have spent a rather significant amount of time using this bundle during that time. Both the system itself & the sports pack that came with it have exceeded all of my expectations up to this point. I am a moderate gamer & while I do not own a Wii system, I have several close friends and family members who do. This is a clear step forward from the Wii. The motion controller is far more sensitive & the graphics are much more visually appealing. That being said, they are simply different systems that cater to a different demographic. Those looking for a child or family friendly sports pack would likely still be best served by Wii's collection. I say that because the relative sensitivity of the controller also makes the games more difficult by comparison. The personal nature of the gaming experience that Wii has developed so well is a bit absent here. No Miis, no ability to discern who earned the highest score (though the number is saved), and no character leveling. There is however, a photo feature when one earns a trophy that can be saved and many will appreciate. So here are some quick reflections that might be of use to someone considering getting the bundle pack: If you want to truly make the most of this bundle, you will need a second motion controller. These have been on backorder at most vendors for the last two weeks, but they are preparing to ship as we speak (mine from Amazon is arriving on 10/15). You might also want to consider a charging station. While a USB cable would suffice, one slot is taken up by the webcam "eye", and the cables are too short to allow for play while they are plugged in anyway. I actually went with 2 of the 2 controller charging stations by Sony because I noted several 3rd party items had negative feedback up to this point. I got 2 because I also picked up 2 of the move navigation controllers which have no relevance in terms of the sports pack, but should in the near future for other games. The 6 games that are included really run the gamut - frisbee golf, gladiator duel, boccee, ping pong, volleyball, and archery. I've played a fair amount of each, but volleyball & boccee in particular lost my attention in one player mode. I will likely leave those for two player games with a friend more often than not. Frisbee golf, gladiator duel, ping pong, and archery are all a lot of fun. Just as important, the AI challenge is appropriate and the game is not easily beaten if you aspire to get 3 stars. I spent almost 3 hours last night trying to get 3 stars on one of the last silver rounds in frisbee golf. I cannot imagine how long the gold rounds will take at this rate... Also, you cannot get by with a simple light flick of the wrist as you can with a Wii. This is not a sit down game, nor should it be. After 3 hours of gladiator duel I was covered in sweat & my arm was sore for the better part of 3 days. Much like the Wii, this promises to bring non-gamers in on the action. My room mate is not a gamer by any means, quite the opposite, but I caught him up at 3 AM playing frisbee golf the other day. I have a number of friends (both guys and girls) who have given the move a try & praise for it has been universal at get togethers. My central complaint is for the "eye" webcam, not the sports pack. It is very much sensitive to lighting, particularly natural light. We have blinds in our living room, but no curtains. Any amount of sunlight during the day makes it necessary for us to hang blankets over the windows if we want to use it. The "eye" needs to be able to follow the lit ball on the end of the motion controller in order to pick up your movements. It simply cannot do that in a sunlit room. Also, the quality of the images that the "eye" produces are lackluster. If it were being used solely as a webcam, it would undoubtedly leave something to be desired. That being said, when the lighting is right it does what it is supposed to. It must be centered at the base or top of your tv and 6-8 feet of space is needed in front of it in order for it to properly calibrate/sense your movements. Also, you will note that you cannot change the color of the ball on the motion controller. If it is indeed based upon the colors in the room, it felt pink was best for our decor. Certainly I would have chosen a different color if I could, but I figure I already look silly enough slashing & swinging wildly around my living room. Overall, I think the sport pack is a great introduction to what the move is capable of. While a limited collection of games are available now for the system, there are a good many titles in the hopper for the holiday season. It's certainly a lot cheaper than picking up a new Wii system for yourself, and in my opinion there's a lot of promise here for the price. I'm psyched for the arrival of Time Crisis 4 & two gun attachments on 10/22, but this will continue to keep me entertained (and my arm sore) until then.

Pretty Sweet
I believe the fact that you're looking over this product means you already know what it's about. In a nutshell, it's a motion gaming device. Some have called it the wii in HD but the move is somewhat different. While it does somewhat "borrow" a few of the wii's concepts it has a different feel to it. Anyway, I woke up on a good old saturday morning rushed to the post office and got my bundle. Upon un wrapping it, it was pretty much everything I expected. A playstation eye, the move controller, sports champions and a demo disk. They all felt pretty much like all playstation products. Stable and good quality. They were pretty easy to install and I had no problems doing so. Even my electronically challenged sister could figure this one out. However, if you find the process difficult, you may consult youtube on how to do it. There are numerous videos online offering help and reviews of the move. Ofcourse, the first game I played was sports champions. I have Fight: Lights Out but since I have yet to purchase another controller I can't play it yet. Also, I've been looking for another controller and they seem sold out in a lot of places or over priced! Nonetheless, Sports Champions is relatively good. Although, there are some iffy moments it's a good game and I will not review it here because I think that should be under the game itself. All you need to know is that it is actually worth your money and truly shows what the move can do. The controller:Very easy to set up and great at sensing movements. I had no problems with lag or anything like that. I also noticed that the controller really requires you to swing it. A flick of the wrist on a lot of games did nothing and I found myself really having to swing it. I woke up the next day with a muscle ache of epic proportions. Perhaps, I did abuse the gladiator game a bit but the game was really addictive and there is something very satisfying about it. I found myself celebrating more than my own character. I am not sure if I can set the color of the glow ball because I would love to. It started irritating me a bit when it kept changing into all these funky colors. It was great and cool at first but there was just something strange about being a macho gladiator swinging around a pink glowing ball. Eye: I put mine on top of the Tv but later moved it below the Tv and there was not much difference. It tracked my movements well. However, movement from side to side is not really recommended though I had no problems moving forward and back. I have no complaints about not moving from side to side though I heard this is somewhat of a problem when playing Fight: Lights out. Overall, was it worth my money? Yes it was-although, I did get it on cyber monday with the extra video game deal. Nonetheless, I played for hours straight until my controller ran out of batteries. I am enjoying it so far and looking forward to future games. I admit when it was first released I scoffed and wondered who in heavens name would buy that, certainly not me but here I am loving and reviewing the product. PS. Do not listen to people who don't own it go on about it because so far people who have the move seem to love it. It may not be as innovative as the kinect but it's worth it.

Awesomness
Tons of fun - even gets the non-gamers involved. Waited a long time to get the Move, but so few games were out that supported it. Once set up (can be a little trying), it works perfectly, and is exponentially more accurate than the Wii similarities would indicate. With 8 kids from 5 to 35, we have a pretty substantial investment in gaming stuff, and the Move is among the most popular ... and will gain a lot of ground as more supported games come out. The included games are good examples and a lot of fun (especially the disk golf surprisingly enough), and the Gladiator styled one is a huge hit with the kids (makes my arms sore). Vast amounts of sibling rivalry can be vented in a "I get the winner" tournament. Predictably excellent Sony quality, amazing accuracy, and very intuitive to use. Sure, you still need something in your hand, but unlike the Kinect, there is no lag and few if any lost or missed gestures to frustrate players. Occasionally, in the excitement, some people will hide the remote from the camera and it obviously loses the control connection, but it remedies itself instantly once the eye can see the controller again. Calibration is fast and precise, battery life is well suited to a day or evening of play (but prevents overnight marathons - a good thing in my book). The level of immersion with the Move and a 3D game and TV is nothing short of spectacular. Killzone 3, in 3D with a good DTS surround system puts you, literally, IN the game, and is guaranteed to get your hands sweating and will absolutely draw you in and keep you firmly in it's grip. In actuality, it can be a little TOO intense for the younger kids - advancing Helgast hordes are pretty scary to a 35 pound person. (Although watching them scramble in reverse away from the TV, wide-eyed, is oddly entertaining in and of itself) In short, it's great now, and with more games coming out, just gets better every week. Solid addition, and will slow down the butt shaping of your couch cushions to boot. It may not get them outside as much as you'd like, but it will get them in a vertical position more often, with some mild aerobics instead of vegetative finger/thumb workouts. The navigator is nice, but can be done without by using your existing 6-axis controllers, and will save some $ if building a 4 player setup (which can get a bit pricey). We got one navigator to use with the Sharpshooter, but they aren't needed for most multiplayer games. If you have several players, the Move system addition is not cheap, but it is high value quality if your family plays a lot. Not buying the additional 3 navigators saves you almost the price of the bundle itself. DO NOT forget a gang charger! With only 2 USB outlets on our PS3, (one of ours is used permanently for the IR remote converter) recharging is where the bottleneck develops - and quickly.

How a hardcore gamer got sold on motion control...
First and foremost, I am a hardcore, single player, role-playing gamer. To all the moms or dads out there shopping for their sons or daughters, that means I like conventional videogames made for the base videogame market and am not fascinated with gimmicks. I don't play online, I don't have social video game parties and I don't pet virtual animals. I thought about getting a Wii for my girlfriend when it came out, but we tried it at a friends house and were blown away by how poor the motion tracking was. That said, I absolutely love my PS Move starter kit! Here's why... 1. One to one pinpoint accuracy. While bashing away at my opponent in the Gladiator minigame, I stopped raised my sword in his direction and taunted him to attack. My opponent raised his sword, at which point I bashed him with my shield and delivered a finishing blow to his midsection. Each move in that sequence was done intuitively, without any on screen prompts, and tracked beautifully. I can't wait for the day when Kratos or Raiden can be controlled in this manner. 2. The "constant calibration" that some reviewers have whined about has been overstated. I played table tennis for 2 hours today and only had to calibrate once at the beginning of the game. That said, the calibration is brilliant. The eye does an excellent job of keeping track of your position in length, depth, and height. 3. I broke a sweat. Seriously. I'm no marathon runner, but I walk all over town and enjoy physical exercise and activity. After two hours of table tennis I was sweating and it felt good. Now I could have played the game far more passively and not broken a sweat, but I was bouncing around yelling expletives and having a grand time. 4. The ways in which the software can be utilized seem limitless. With many major titles coming out that will support motion control and a bevvy of third party devices that you can mount the controller to (assault rifle, swords and etc.) I could see a maelstrom of games coming out in the next year that will blow me away. Compared to other motion control interfaces, this is by far the most appealing to hardcore game developers. 5. The price. $99 is a very reasonable investment. Granted, i will be buying additional controllers and probably a navigation controller (each at about $50 a piece) but I'm having a ball playing with the one wand. It is definitely not an incomplete package, though I imagine future games will probably be more fun with a navigation controller. 6. Casual gaming done right. When I am playing with less proficient or serious players, casual games are much more fun than trying to teach my girlfriend to pull of 64 hit combos on "Batman: Arkham Asylum." This product has great games for kids and casual gamers at launch. I downloaded the Eye Pet demo for a friends kid and he had a blast with it. The Sports Champion game that comes with the system is great for having friends over. All in all I took a big chance on Playstation Move and I'm glad I did. The most exciting part of this device and technology is that I am having fun with it and its full potential hasn't even been fully realized yet. If you're on the fence, just buy it. You won't be dissatisfied.

In my opinion, better than Wii.
I've been excited about the move since I first heard of it, finally motion controlls that require more than a flick of your wrist to operate. However, I've only recently decided to actually purchase it, and I'm happy I did. Thus far it's nearly exactly what I expected, and a little bit more. This package comes with the Playstation Eye camera, one motion controller, Sports Champions (which is better than I expected), and a disc with demos compatible with move. The camera and controller work well together, I've tried playing move games at varying distances from my TV and it seems to work fine from about 5 to 10 feet away. The controlls are almost surprisingly accurate, and having played the Wii multiple times (with and without Wii motion plus) I would say Move is better. I don't know if I could definitively claim it's true 1:1 motion tracking, but if not, it's really close. My only real gripe about the camera is that it dosen't seem all that stable on top of my thin TV, but a strip of double sided tape fixed that. I wasn't expecting much from Sports Champions, I thought it'd be a medicore compilation of less than stellar sports and mini games. Thankfully I was wrong. I've tried almost all of them (I've yet to try Bocce), and I've found them surprisingly fun. Without taking anything away from the other games I have to say the two I've taken a liking to the most are gladiator duel and archery. Speaking from personal experiance, archery is far easier in Sports Champions than in real life (reality dosen't give you a line that shows your arrow's trajectory), but the game does become progressively harder, even taking away said trajectory line. Gladiator duel is addictive and get's me sweating. It feels a little odd swinging my arm about wildly, but then once I see the character mimicking my moves and striking the opponant my thoughts of a crazy peson flailing around in front of a Tv disapear, and I swing even harder at a person who's not actually there. After beating the silver cup my arm is kind of sore. I was unaware that the package came with a demo disc, but I'm grateful it did. On the disc were demos for such games as The Shoot, Eye Pet, Tumble, and (for some strange reason) Sports Champions. The Shoot was most certainly the most enjoyable. There's nothing bad I could say about the demo disc, it's really all just a bonus. The Move has a decent amount of good games out now, but also a lot of sub-par games, it's mostly a matter of researching them and sifting through the bad ones. I'm looking toward the future and waiting for games like Sorcery to be released. There's enough out now to tide me over 'till more great games come onto the market. Overall, I'm satisfied with what I bought. What was in the package was all I hoped for and more.

A Near-Complete Starter Pack
The Starter Bundle makes it quick and easy for those who already have a PS3 to get an idea of what Move is about. Depending on what you already have on your PS3 and of what/how you are planning to play, all you may need could be just the Move controller and nothing else or you may want to order some additional controllers instead of this bundle. If you don't have a PS3, then the PlayStation 3 320GB System with PlayStation Move Bundle should be the way to go. WHAT YOU GET, WHAT ELSE YOU MAY NEED/WANT Briefly, this is what you get in with this bundle and I will make it very short because there's a lot of info. at the Amazon page: * Move controller, of course * PlayStation Eye camera (must have for the Move to work) * Sports Champions (Ping Pong is simply awesome, some of the games play much better with a second controller) * A disc with Demos which should be available at the PSN store as well Depending on how you are planning to play your games, this is what you don't get but may end up buying eventually: - One more additional Move Controller (some games will either require two controllers or will play better with two) - Navigation Controller(s) (you can use the DualShock in your left hand but it feels weird) - One or more extra USB wires if you don't have enough already to charge your new controller(s) OR - Dedicated charger, especially if you have more than one Move controller and/or Navigation controller(s) GO FOR THE STARTER BUNDLE OR NOT? The Motion Controller and the PS Eye are the minimum needed to bring 'Move' to a any PS3 console. No exceptions. If you already have a PS Eye then the controller alone is the only purchase necessary. On the other hand, to fully enjoy certain games, you may want TWO Move Controllers. This starter bundle makes sense if you don't have the Eye already and you are into the type of games that Sports Champions has. You could still get it and then sell the Eye if you already have one. The same goes for the Sports Champions. It comes sealed so you can sell it as 'new' and recover some funds in the process. MOVE'S MOTION CONTROLLER The Wikipedia has a very thorough review of the technology inside the controller - impressive. It's probably worth going there to get an idea of what's under the hood. From a user's point of view, the Move could be viewed as approximately the right side of the DualShock 3 where the motion tracking function is the R3 analog stick, R1 is the MOVE button and the R2 becomes the Move's T(rigger). You also get the 4 Square/Circle/X/Triangle, in a square (not 'diamond') formation, the PS button as well as the START and SELECT. So far, the most used buttons during gameplay were the MOVE and the T(rigger). In addition, you get a wrist strap. At the opposite end of the microphone-shaped Move there's a USB Mini-B port for charging and another port that seems to be proprietary - must investigate. The controller is quite substantial as far as both size and weight - I like that and liked its being shaped in a way that makes it easy to grab and hold. Very much like a microphone or a very thick magic wand; NOT a remote control. Based on my experience so far, Move's ability to track your motions far surpasses anything that I'm aware of in the gaming universe. Every single movement, up/down, left/right, toward/away and wrist rotation are accurately captured and almost instantly reflected on the screen and so is acceleration that would usually translates as 'force' in games such as sword fights or ping pong. In addition, there is haptic (tactile/rumble) feedback, a little too weak in the games I played so far, making the gaming experience that much more realistic. I am not writing a lot about the Eye camera because... it's just there and it's not the subject of this review. For as long as it can see you, it simply does its part so that you may enjoy your game. THE GAME Sports Champions consists of 6 separate events where you play through one of the available characters either against the other characters provided by the game or against another player - will need a second Move controller for that. As expected, there are levels of difficulties, medals and various bonuses. PING PONG shows Move's nothing short of amazing ability to track its controllers position in 3D space and, better, even detect moves such as wrist rotation and to track acceleration as 'force' and do it in real time. Playing Ping Pong is challenging, fun, frustrating and addictive. My entire arm, from wrist all the way up to the neck hurts already and I'm not even done with the Bronze Medal challenge yet (almost there). ARCHERY is probably second most popular, at least in our household. We like it because, unlike PING PONG, we don't sweat a lot while playing it. ARCHERY is also one of the 3 included games that make it quite clear that you will be much better off with TWO Motion Controllers. Some of the challenges look quite cheesy - shooting at floating money bags but we've spent some time playing it and it's likely that we are going to play some more in the future. The GLADIATOR SWORD FIGHT game, even more than ARCHERY would benefit from TWO Motion Controllers - one for the sword/axe and a second for a shield. With one controller only, you must pull the trigger to raise and use your shield or use the sword otherwise. Yes, Sony gave us BUTTONS but the game is ten times more realistic when you actually push your shield forward the way you would actually do it in real life rather than pull the trigger to raise the shield and, at the same time push the Move button while making a 'push' motion. BOCCE... ever played it? I have a couple of times. Plays well with one controller but it can be a little boring. Good simulation. FRISBEE GOLF is not bad. Actually played it in real life on the course we have at the nearby state park. It's a little slow but it's good relaxation after you sweat yourself out on PING PONG or GLADIATOR. VOLLEYBALL, again, can be so much better with two Motion Controllers. Also, be careful if you play in a room with low ceilings or anything that hangs from the ceiling like a ceiling fan or a priceless crystal candelabrum. Considering that Sports Champions is an early game, my expectations were not that high but, surprisingly, Ping Pong exceeded my expectations. I've been playing real Ping Pong ever since I was 11 or 12 so I probably know what I'm talking about and the Move version of Ping Pong is GOOD. As for the others... sword fight, not so good. Archery was okay, Bocce was so-so, Frisbee Golf not too bad. For the games I've played so far, this is NOT a couch experience. On the Sports events I was sweating after a few minutes and my Move arm is now hurting from the wrist all the way up to the neck. MY RATING It's 5 stars for the technical merit, ease of setup and for the overall experience. Hopefully, lots of good games will be coming quickly.

Highest praise - it WORKS
UPDATE: I am changing this review from 4 star to 1 star. Almost a year after release, there is still not a SINGLE flagship ps3 move game. This thing has been a complete waste of money and have been gathering dust right now. The long waited socom and killzone games supports the ps3 move merely as a addon and the experience lands with a whimper leaving much to be desired. There is still not a single ps3 move blockbuster game out, not even a tennis game (dont even mention the crap that was released as ps3-move compatible tennis). No matter how good the hardware is, it's worthless without the games! Sony has once again completely FUBARed this amazing piece of hardware. ---------------------------------- Have been playing with the ps3 move and sports champion for a few hours now. Short version: it WORKS beautifully - a true 1:1 mapping precision. Below is the long version. After the wii and their worthless gimmick controller (including wiimote plus), i am not sure what to expect from the ps3 move, but glad i took the chance. -The hardware and technology in the ps3 move is definitely the real deal. Sports champion proved that - you turn your hand a little bit, the ingame player turns his paddle/hammer a little bit too. A true precision 1:1 controller. You swing, the ingame player swings exactly like you do. Remember the frustration in wii when the toon just doesnt do what you want? in ps3 move i havent experienced a single instance of that. It does exactly what I want it to do. The hardware is perfect. -The games is the problem right now, it is severely lacking on release date just like when ps3 came out, sony never learns. Sports champion currently is the ONLY game that uses the ps3 move in all its glory. (note: eyepet and the party game also works great, but those are little kids mini games than anything else). There are some heavy hitters coming out such as killzone3, socom, and the boxing game. The lack of good games for the ps3 move right now is why i substracted 1 star. So to summarize: finally a true 1:1 motion controller - hardware is flawless. But games right now are nonexistent. Once the good games come out that fully utilizes the ps3 move power, sky is the limit on what this thing can do. I guess sports champion will have to do for now. I have no bias nor loyalty to any one console, but between wii, kinect, and ps3 move. It is very obvious ps3 move is the hardcore precision controller. Kinetic from what i see is pretty unique but it is just a party favor not for gamers. Wii's controller simply does not work...

works grreat
This was the final step before actually buying a PS3 from the store and it works well and the game that comes with is a lot of fun. Amazon.ca continues to be one of the places i do buy products from. I also love the fact that i get it sooner then the expected time fram

Video games that you get some exercise with the fun.
I wanted to get some exercise and have some fun and this does the trick. Better graphics and games than the wii in my opinion. I like playing fps games with the gun accessories and lots of the sports games but prefer the kinect for dancing games so you don't have to hold a controller.

NOT compatible with the PS3
If you need this product for a PS3 note that what was shipped will not work for you. Specifically, the motion controller is the kind that has the micro-usb port which is the PS4 generation of MC which is NOT reverse compatible with the PS3. They look just about identical but the PS3 controller has the older mini-USB (not microUSB) port.
