Flexzilla Pro Water Hose Reusable Fitting, Male, 5/8 in. - RP900625M

This female hose end replacement worked perfectly. Cut off the end of the existing hose, forced on the spiral part (fits tight, but easy enough to wiggle and twist on, hardly any real force needed.) Then slipped on the compression fitting, again, goes on easy enough. Push the female hose adaptor into the cut end of the hose. This went much easier than expected. (5/8" hose.) Scooted the compression fitting to the adapter but had some trouble getting the threads to start. Had to bend the end of the hose so that the angle between the two parts was a close to 0° as possible. Took about 3-4 minutes (but I'm so in my late 70's so take that into consideration.) Once the threads caught, it was easy to screw up and then used two water pump pliers to tighten up solid. Finally slid up the spiral part. Stays tight by friction. Works good enough. All-in-all, this is the PERFECT method to repair a hose. Really liked the quality and ease of assembly. Strongly recommended.

I have a couple of Flexzilla hoses and like them. The overall quality is very good. So, when I needed a new connection for a non Flexzilla hose, I decided to try this. It worked perfectly 🎯 installation was easy. I was expecting more difficulty so I clamped it in a vise but that was totally unnecessary. The hose end pushed onto the fitting very tightly but without crazy effort. The compression fitting screwed overtop very snugly. The coiled strain relief slips on easily but stays put. This is as close to a factory compression fitting as I have found. Yea, these are not inexpensive but given that they actually work reliably and are completely reusable, it’s a bit easier to justify. Mini update: 🔸Make sure you push the strain relief on until it snaps into place. It’s not just a friction fit; it actually click-locks onto the coupler and stays put 🔸 I missed this initially.

Easiest repair I've ever made. I had a hose that had somehow bonded to the spicket. I broke out the big pipe wrenches and even tried a little heat from a torch. Wouldn't budge. Used the "cut-off wheel" method that left me with a hose I couldn't connect to anything. Put this one on within 2 minutes. No fuss. No leaks.

This Flexzill​a replacement part works well. It was the easiest repair ever! It fits perfectly, was easy to install and took less than 5 minutes.

This fitting provides a good water tight connection to my pistol nozzle. It took more than a little effort to push it into the hose, but that's a good thing because it makes for a very tight seal that can stand up to a lot of pressure without leaking. The one issue it has is that the plastic spiral strain relief has a loose fit to the clamping nut and will slide off way too easily. I fixed this with a single layer of Scotch tape wrapped around the nut. The fit is tighter now but can be pulled apart with minimal effort. At least it won't just slide off the way it did without the tape. I may try two layers to see if it is not too thick to push the strain relief onto the nut. All in all I'm happy with it. I no longer have that horrendous leak that was in the original fitting. I would recommend this to anyone who has that problem. It's much cheaper than buying a new hose.

Wow.... easy, peasy! Went on the hose quick and seems to be very secure. Better than any other fitting I've used to date. Hoping it stays in place and leak free!
