Perfect recipe holder, right where I needed it.
I needed something to hold my recipes up and out of the way while I'm cooking. After spending a little time designing a swing away copy holder out of wood, that would fit on the end of my cabinet, I started looking for clips to go on it and stumbled across this one. For under $10, this was a no brainer. I decided to give it a shot and so far, I'm tickled with the results! It holds my printed recipes, in page protectors, perfectly and folds back out of the way when I'm finished. Can't say I like that it's black and silver on the side of the cabinet, but I knew what it would be when bought it. It could be worse, like... neon pink or something. I'll admit, the wood one I was going to make would have blended into the side of the cabinet and would have been much less noticable, but... On a rare occasion, it's nice just taking the easy way out. As many have stated, it's pretty lightweight so you will want to remember not to use your super strength and start yanking it around or manhandling it. But it does the job I hired it to do, and I'm quite satisfied with that.

Great Item-just not for me
I do some data entry in my job. I also use a Mac desktop with a large screen. It is sturdy, it holds the paper securely, it is just not for me. The two issues I have found with it are: It holds the papers too securely. lol. I can put a pile of papers to hold in it and it works wonders. But then I need to reach over and use both hands to loosen the clip to pull the top paper I am done with out, because it does not just slide out. The other issue is with a Mac, the monitor is made to move up & down. I find that it moves my monitor down when papers are in it or I need to adjust. It would be fine if you pulled alot of info off each paper, unfortunately the data I pull of the paper consists of 3 boxes, then onto the next, so it gets to be a pain having to reach up, carefully remove the top, then readjust my monitor just to do the little bit on the next page. It is sturdy and a good piece of equipment, it just does not suit my tastes. It would be good for someone who has a lot of data needing to be pulled from a single page, someone with a smaller monitor and probably a PC monitor that is stable and not meant to move.

Love being able to see my sources in a heads up position!
This is exactly the type of page clip you may remember from high school or college typing classes. It mounts to the side of your monitor and can hold 1 or many sheets. I bought this item for my work computer as I often have a need to read from a report or procedure and write a synapsis or review and hand no suitable way to hold the documents other than lying near the keyboard which strained my neck. This item is wonderful as it attaches to even the current flat panel monitors with a thin vertical 3M command strip. The fact that this item is made by 3M and capitalizes on the ease of use and removable nature of the Command Strip it was the only one I felt comfortable sticking to a computer I did now own, as I knew I would be able to safely remove it when necessary with no damage. This arm has a full range of motion to be mounted on whichever side of the monitor you desire and I have held as many as 40 pages at once (I know it says 30 max capacity but I am a rebel) with the clip which was powerful enough to hold without slipping but didn't grab tight enough to damage the pages. I have never had a reason to use the front slide in clip that the product recommends for single pages, I have always clipped them into the pinch clip as well which I find faster to put pages into and remove and I have never noticed an issue where they have never slipped. Works well - keeps clutter off the desk
My ergonomics folks at work said I needed a document holder for typing, etc. I didn't want the clutter on the desk top so this looked great. I cleaned the monitor with an alcohol pad (don't use cleanser). The product comes with a couple of strips of 3M tape (called Command brand) sticky on both sides and a little padded to maybe get over some slightly irregular surfaces. I put this on a LG monitor which is 1/2" thick, but mounted not on the side but on the back (see pics). This allowed for bringing out perpendicular to the monitor and allows for folding back flat against the back of the monitor. I suppose it could mount to any smooth surface, like a kitchen cabinet to hold recipes. The unit is plastic, black with a silver clip. The part that mounts to the monitor is 1" x 3". The clip/arm sticks out ~7.5" from the side of the monitor and is 1.5" wide (and 2.5" wide with the clip + arm. The clip seems to have a surface or nubbins to prevent paper from slipping out , couldn't feel exactly what (once mounted) but two feel plastic and one rubbery in the center of the clip. The seller/manufacture says it will hold 30 pages, but I tested the clip to 40 pages of standard photocopier paper. Pic attached, the spring mechanic is strong and made of metal. Overall pleased with this product. Nice product, one significant flaw
I really like this clip in almost all respects. It attaches well and can flip behind the monitor when it is not being used. However, the clip has a concave curve to it that causes the paper to curve from the middle as well. The paper needs to be adjusted almost every time to get rid of the curve. Not a major issue, but it is a pain to have to deal with - especially because I can see no reason for the curve to begin with. I would try another product before I would purchase this one again.

Works well for me.
I bought two of these, one for each side of the monitor, and found them well designed and very useful. No complaints.

Love them
I had tried a different system that sat on my desk to hold my papers & that just took up too much space. These attach to either side of the back of your monitor with included Command stickies. Love having the free space on my desk. I would like to have the angle adjustable (like on a ball joint instead of a hinge) because of the lighting in my office. I only have one peice of paper in the holder and I don't change it out so I can't speak to how they would hold up to a lot of clipping & unclipping, or how the clips would function with multiple sheets. They work great for what I needed. ****Update - still love them but one fell off today. Just wasnt sticky on one side any longer. Really odd but I just used another Command Strip & put it back. Bought 2 and installed at same time on same computer so not sure why one sticky failed but not a big deal. I use them to hold 1 piece of paper that doesn't get swapoed out so there isn't really any strain on them. They are still perfect for my needs!!

Awesome product! A must for any workspace...
I love these so much that I ordered several more in order to cascade some different documents at my monitor's side. These go on really well and stay in place. You can use them on either side of the monitor but I chose to put them on the left side (I have a bear note holder on the right side, see review). I have two right now on my monitor and have affixed my third one on a nearby standing lamp. Because the lamp stand is round I added a small piece of duct tape to the top and bottom of where it fixes on to be sure it stays in place. I love it and have a large chart clipped to it with all of my book projects and progress on it. These holders are almost addicting to buy (on the add-on program), and I can think of lots of other places I could use these at. I am a Children's Author with lots of projects always in the works and these are very, very useful!

Guter Blatthalter
Kann einfach am Monitor angebracht werden. Ebenso kann es weggeklappt werden, sollte es nicht gebraucht werden.

Just the tick(et)!
I've been looking for a gizmo like this for ages. Other document holders are either bulky - free standing, which I don't have room for, or flimsy and give way with just a couple of sheets of paper. However, this one does the trick perfectly: attaches to the monitor -tick- holds several sheets -tick- folds away out of sight - tick-.

Soporte para hojas
Es de plástico pero muy resistente, les recomiendo saber exactamente dónde lo quieren pegar porque una vez pegado es muy difícil quitar lo. Me encantó

Removable.
This monitor clip seems very flimsy but holds a surprising amount of paper. I use mine at work and love it! Give this a chance it will surprise you. Also comes with two command strips. I had no problem with the clip on mine. It holds sturdy.
